I saw that news as well. I sure hope things work out well for Cosmo, I like it so much as it is now.
I’ve also heard (via Vital Vegas) that CET is separately considering selling PH. Of course that is a rumor but, it seems like Vegas may be in for big changes.
This does not surprise me because Blackstone does not typically sit on things long term. They have turned Cosmo in to the "place to stay" for so many. And the casino is now a favorite for so many. The have really increases the marketable price for this property.

Fake Rumor Watch: Circus Circus makes surprise bid at The Cosmopolitan. Convention space to be turned into an adventure dome. Slots of Fun also rumored to be making the move. Super 8 rumored to take over hotel operations with full remodel in 2020.

They have done a really good job of new restaurants and everything all the way around at Cosmo you got to give them that from back when they first open
