I don’t cook too much but my pans need replacing.... this may be off topic but I need advice on newer and healthier options for everyday cooking.

I am leaning towards the Paris Pro Greenpan for everyday use to replace my old ptfe pans.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with ceramic nonstick pans.

Lol I watch Chopped a lot and those silver lined pans are used a lot (Zwilling brand I believe). Hoping there are less expensive alternatives that you recommend. :)

Funny you should post this...I’m eyeing these bad boys but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I like the idea of them and that they aren’t coated with chemicals and that they can be reseasoned. Reviews are good too!

Clemi, are you looking to cook eggs in the pan, or use it as an everyday pan for chicken/stir-fried veggies?
If eggs, I would recommend a true non stick coated pan you don’t need to season. We actually got ours at Costco and is the cheapest pan we own, lol. We use it exclusively for eggs and actually replaced our fancier brand non stick pan.
For actual meals, we find that ceramic coated cast iron (le creuset), sears perfectly and doesn’t stick when heated thoroughly and left alone.
Have fun shopping! :)

Thanks CTslotters, my dream is to find an excuse to purchase a Le creuset but I sadly can’t conjure up one now lol.

Looking just for an everyday set of pans. The Paris Green Pan seems reasonable, but wish I belonged to Costco so I could check out what they offer.

My parents have a copper pan from a casino giveaway that they love, lol!
It’s the “as seen on tv” brand.
Sometimes casino gifts can actually be useful!

Manette, a cheap solution for you is for me to send you my set of Calphalon. It's a very nice set, but I never seem to use them anymore. [emoji23]

I'm not a gourmet, but a pretty decent cook. I use Rachel Ray's. I have two complete sets. I have expensive cookware. I just don't use them.

I think I have every Calphalon pan there is. But beware, if you use them a lot (2 that I used all the time) have started to peel inside. I have never used anything but non metal utensils. I think it is from the constant heat! Although I love my Calphalon wok.

Oh wow, thanks everyone! CPT, sondor and CTslotters, I have my daughter a copper pan a couple years ago but she never said she liked it, lol I should ask her if she wants it hhh!

Curlyd I have some old calphalon pans but they are not nonstick and they have some knicks in the anodizing so those have seen their days, after 30 plus years! I did love them for many years. Zeus thanks for your offer! [emoji1787]

Pat, nice score on your pans!

I’ll look at the RR pans zeus and Pat :)

Mary9915 thanks for the link on the BK black pan!

We like the Blue diamond frying pans. We got them at Bed Bath and Beyond. So far they are holding up good. Ronnie is always cooking something, and they fit good in dishwasher.
