Ocean also did away with their Veterans Card. Apparently it stopped in June, they were giving Veterans 1 free night stay a month during week free, free parking and 10 percent discount in some of their restaurants. I was shocked, when I read this in a Facebook group last week. Seems like management can't get it together at Ocean, very bad marketing. Glad that CET has a nice Veteran Program, and other casinos also. Beautiful place, but don't think they will make it long term!

Good article, sad to hear how Ocean is treating their customers. Would love to hear how DK528 feels about it. I think she just reupped her status with them and has had lots of good play over there. I wonder if they are treating all levels of the players the same way.

That's a shame. I really enjoyed the casino for the 2 quick visits I made, and thought I might use a free night next time. But I don't play where I feel cheated, so that's that.

Based on my experience, I don’t totally agree with the article.

I knew when I was there for NYE, 6 months after they started, that my comp dollars would expire. I had accrued a shit ton before that and knew I needed to use them up. So I bought tons of stuff at Ocean’s stores. And continued to throughout 2019.

My FP offers have gone down a lot in Sept/Oct compared to July and August but it’s still a lot more than what Borgata or CET offers me weekly.
