Good thing about the Delta Airlines change they are extending no cancellation fees or anything until September 31sr supposed to be going on in July 10th cruise to Alaska out of Seattle but you never know nowadays what's going to happen I was concerned the cruise was going to get canceled and we would be stuck with $1,000 in airfare but at least now they extended the airfare cancellation policy.

hmm. wonder if i should rebook at lower price or will that hose me if it does truly get cancelled?

It would be tempting to do, but my concern would be if you rebooked and the cruise does get canceled, when you go to use your credits would the Delta agent recognize by the credit vouchers that the two credits were for the same destination, same flight and time, and then tell you they cam only honor one and the other is void? I just don't know. But dang it would be tempting.

would be a $500 savings if i can cancel and rebook..supposedly it would be a refund to the cc i used. no e credits

think i am going to get refund and then rebook once i show credit. doubt prices will go up in the next week or so.

will post results!

have to review terms to see if july does get cancelled to see if new tickets could possibly be cancelled as well if cruise does indeed cancel.

Going to have to rebook my retirement trip to Vegas and will just be Kevin and I now, looking at late June, $364 round trip, pretty much normal price for his ticket.

Delta just cancelled my late May non stop to Rome (for a cruise that was already cancelled) so I was able to get a full refund (not e-credits) on the fare. I thought I would have to wait until closer to departure, but I was lucky. I am stuck with too many travel credits, FF Miles, and credit card points, that the last thing I need is MORE travel "e-credits" with expiration dates that, quite frankly, may not be useable. Also, most "non-stop" transcontinental and long range flights have turned into one-stop or two-stop (hub transfer) flights adding more time, stress, and connection-issues for the foreseeable future.
Also, my take on the cruise ship industry (after 80+ cruises, I know it well!)...... be very careful on your reliability of all the "future cruise credits" they are issuing. Hopefully, I am wrong, but the lawsuits starting to pour into the legal system against the cruise lines show a high possibility of real financial trouble for the cruise lines in addition to all the regulatory and business stresses that industry in going through. I am beginning to see the warning signs that these entities, in there current form and state, may not be around to honor those "credits" in the future. Still waiting to get out of this July's Alaska cruise that they have not cancelled yet even though all signals point to the fact that they will eventually cancel. They are leveraging the final payment date cutoff to get people to fully pay without losing the non-refundable deposit.

i was able to cancel and rebook got ecredits didn't give me full refund
but i am sure i will be able to use $952 in delta ecredits by end of 2022

i tried to book using the ecredits so i would have had $500 left in credits but it just caught me in loop.

prob be able to use ecredits on other trips
