With so many older slots being removed, I've been trying to find new slots to play and particularly interested in hearing from you all about your favorite advantage play slots. I'll be honest and really didn't know much about advantage play until I started watching more slot channel videos. Some of the ones that come to my mind are my new favorite slot, Treasure Box. Also Scarab and Hexbreaker 3 (although I've never had much luck on Hexbreaker). I know the CTslotters have played some jungle one that looks really hard to win on.
So for those of you that check advantage games when you go to the casino, name your favorites or even not favorites so I can check them out on YouTube!

I like Treasure Box. Borgata has 2 of them and I only tried it once, but it was fun and I got a few decent wins. Have tried Scarab a it was okay. Wasn't there an Alladin game like it where it turns the reels wild for a few spins once you collect the coins on that reel? Hexbreaker I do not understand and didn't like. I loved the old school Hexbreaker game. As for others, I guess you would consider Buffalo Diamond to be an Advantage Play game? I can't think of others, but I know I have played some where they were ready to pop but I ran out of bankroll too soon. :(

It looks like pretty much every CET casino in Vegas has Scarab so will be looking at those when there next month stumbling. Yes, BD is an advantage game but to me, more obvious to the unknowing gambler. Also, I guess those games that have the glowing strings of firecrackers can be considered advantage but I honestly think the progressive pick is random and have seen it pop on strings that aren't glowing as much.

Those ones with the glowing strings of firecrackers, just like the full and empty pots, drive me crazy. When I got the major on 5 Treasures at Harrah's, I was playing a machine with a pretty empty pot, and I've also seen the firecrackers go off when barely lit. I do seek out the full ones though. Bob insisted I play the game where the piggie gets really fat and then pops out the picking bonus, so I played it. Nothing, while all the skinny piggies around me were popping. LOL I thought I read on a "game info" screen somewhere that those things really don't matter, but just like screen rubbing and button slapping, let it happen once and it's a powerful psychological incentive. :)

I never realized how many people go to Vegas and either don’t play, or play and have no clue about what they’re playing until I started following all the FB groups. I think you might be on to something trying out your theory there.

I check Red Envelope Bonuses./ when they are over 150 i give them a whirl. You can win them at any bet.. so can have a positive outcome. I also watch the triple put game.. if all three are fuller.. the changes you can get the super games with all bonues at once is better.. and if that happens the pays are much much better!

Not to be self promoting, but these, [emoji23]
The Aladdin is now Adam’s favorite to advantage play and it’s rewarded him very well! I like the golden Egypt or whatever it’s called (check all bet sizes and different line counts for optimal return, I don’t usually have that much patience but people do it. ) That shows up in a few of our videos!
Ocean magic if nicely placed bubbles are left can be a good one too!
Good luck finding them, nearly impossible in CT, our casinos are full of stalkers checking these repeatedly!

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI've seen quite a lot of advantage videos of yours in your vault! Some other names I've come across other than the ones already mentioned are Wild Pirates, Wheel of Fortune 4D, Reef of Riches, Dancing Phoenix Soaring Dragon, Zodiac Lion. Guess if I'm going to have to start playing games outside of what I normally play I may as well look for advantages.

Advantage play slots are my favorite. For those who remember, they actually started back in the 1990's with WMS Piggy Bankin slot game where you can scout which machine had the biggest "Break the Bank" coin jackpot and then simply play one quarter to try and just break the bank. There are a few out there as mentioned in the previous posts. The most obvious ones are the "Must hit by" slots as they approach their logarithmic maximums. Most "Mini" slot jackpots, like the Gold Stack games, can be advantage played as those are the ones to hit most often when you enter a bonus round so a build up of those jackpots. Any of the Lightning Link $1000 majors that are built up from their $500 reset gives you a slight advantage.
If you want the biggest percentage progressive build-up we have ever seen that has not hit in years, then Atlantis Reno Triple Butterfly is worth a try:
$1.80 a pull for a $294,000+ jackpot and a reset of only $900 !!!!! (its probably a positive return game if you factor the max play jackpot into the base games programming). I've played it many times and I am sure they will discontinue the game once it is hit as it is so old. Here is the proof that this is not a typo:

Best ones I have had luck on that have made me some money are two-
The Jolly 88's. These have the 8 spins where the wilds, progressives and bonus symbols collect for spin 8. I can almost always find some mid cycle on certain bets with some wilds. I recently found one in the HL room, $15 bet on spin 6 of 8 and my $30 investment netted me $445.
The other one is if you check out Scarab, don't forget to change the denomination if you can. I often have found the 5 cent large bets are the most common to have wilds left on them. People always are checking these and doing the penny bets but never look at other denominations. Last year at Peppermill in Reno someone left up spin 9 with lots of wilds on the $18.75 bet. My one spin won me over $400.

I have been burned a few times on them too, I thought being at spin 3 of 8 as a good bet but then the wilds don’t line up. Still probably ahead though overall a little.

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYeah, I thought it might be interesting to see if it ends in a net profit or loss. The ones I may have to stay away from unless they are just about to the top may be Hexbreaker 3. It just seems like such a hard game to win on and line pays aren't much at all. Seems like you have to count on the progressives too much.

Hexbreaker 3 has not been kind. I learned not to chase those. Too many spins don’t pay even the bet back or anything so by the time I get what I was chasing I’m usually down more than double of what I win from finally getting the credits or a bonus.

Just wanted to update my experience with advantage slots this trip to Vegas. I can honestly say that it was a fun little exercise and I even showed Kevin what to look for and he caught on quickly.
I would have to say the biggest chance for success was on Scarab and I think there was only 1 round of it that resulted in a tiny loss. Found 3 or 4 rounds that resulted in quick $30-40 profits for just a few spins and one $80 hit. Lots of rounds with $5-10 profits. Only had one really nice screen I found at Joe Blow Gold that got me about a $75 quick profit. I did notice some other people checking machines too. Didn't care for Ocean Magic but to be honest, I didn't think I really saw any good screens left. And because I watch SDGuy play Hexbreaker 3, I stupidly chased what I thought was a good screen and blew $160 in that POS. Never again, that has to be the shittiest game ever made, lol.
All in all, it was fun and once we knew where all the machines were in the various casinos, we always checked them when walking by. Did find one HL Scarab machine but there was nothing good left on it.
I'll definitely keep doing the advantage scavenger hunt in casinos!

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkNumber 1, you definitely need to find a machine that isn't already showing spin 10 of 10. If less than 10, you will want to see a decent amount of spots already circled (those will be wild on spin 10). There could also be a scarab or two actually still showing, that would mean that the person got those on their last spin played and they will also become circled like the others on the next spin. You will want to check all the bet levels and if a multi denom machine, all denominations. I think I kind of pissed off two women playing Scarab at Linq when I walked up to the machine between them and after checking, saw a good screen at the $1.50 level. I didn't even sit down, just put a $10 in and played 3 spins and hit for a quick $80, looked at them, shrugged with a smirk on my face and cashed out, lol.
Here is a little article explaining advantage on Scarab.

Was just reading an article about them and it says Wheel of Fortune 4D is an advantage play game. I'll have to find some videos to watch on that one. Confirming that Hexbreaker 3 is the biggest piece of shit money pit game that ever existed.
3.20 bet, one spot away from top to bonus, bye bye $300 this past weekend. It started my downward spiral of losing. It hexed me!! That fucker!
Of course, vultures are now all over Borgata now that they installed more “advantage play” games (seems to be an mlife trend).
It was annoying, they actually stood behind your chair waiting for you to lose so they could play.

Speaking of Hexbreaker....as much as I said I was done I did play one Sunday to clip off a couple money spots that were one away, had some decent hits in the process, made a quick $100 picking off a $56 one on one and a $16 on another bet level. So I am slightly less bitter on the game, Don't think I have ever gotten a bonus though.
