The lounge at Paris is already being turned into a Vanderpump Garden. I’m personally not heartbroken over this. I’ve really enjoyed the drink vouchers and being able to get higher quality drinks at nice bars or at dinner!

Apparently I don’t know how to add a link to the article, sorry, it’s from Vital Vegas if anyone can help!I can read it, Gina. You did it correctly. I have mixed feelings. I am looking forward to having higher end cocktails using the vouchers in a couple of weeks, but I also liked just getting away to enjoy cocktails and a light snack when taking a beating. Especially at the on at Planet Hollywood. It being tucked away upstairs on the mezzanine level. It was typically somewhat quiet. Thanks for sharing!

One thing to add is that it should help their restaurant sales because I can't believe how many people I would see make chicken wings, pot stickers,, chips, carrots and dip their dinner.

I got ya fixed up, just an extra space at the end tag.

Yeah I was never impressed with Vegas lounges. Caesars was decent, but yeah agreed on the drink tickets!

Vanderpump has a beautiful veggie hummus plate for a few bucks and the drinks are divine!

That would be me.....Hopefully the non Vegas places keep them openI can make a meal out of the AC and Cherokee LL's, but the Vegas ones not so much. I go there for the cocks. They are cheaper than the gin & tonics I pay $50-100 for in the casino. [emoji33]

Nothing in Vegas is the same anymore. The VIP lounge at Bellagio was pretty lame before Covid. Now it's just pathetic. But it usually is quiet in there. I'm sure they will be scanning room keys in the very near future. People have been checking out of their rooms and still coming in there for snacks and water, etc. The poor waiters in there had no idea they had checked out. They used to ask to see your room key, even if they recognized you. But as usual, crappy people just continue to abuse everything.

The lounges were nice for grabbing something to hold me over until next meal instead of having to have another big meal or wait in long line at a quick food place. Will miss the lounges but if the crowds still come without them, there is no incentive to reopen them.

Bad move IMO but consistent with the direction CET is going, which is limit your food choices so their places are the only option. Ran into that in Caesar's So Indiana a few months back. During the remodel, they closed all non-CET eateries.

We usually eat whatever is convenient and the DL's were nice to grab a bite and a drink. When V closed their Gold Lounge, that was a big reason we went to CET. In the end it's not a big deal I guess since our days of going to Vegas 3-4 times a year seem to be over.

I've heard the reason the lounges in Atlantic City are so extravagant opposed to the rest of the network as there is a state law they must serve food with an open bar. Now is the reason they are so extravagant as every casino has it's own competition or is there a stipulation of what the food must consist of? BUT The lounges there have gone downhill a bit and they can blame COVID, but most likely Eldorado's new plan.

And there is talk about them selling the Colosseum. The CEO wants to focus on gaming, and wants to run a very lean company. How much do you cut before your customers jump ship?

So sad to hear this! But I guess they can sell it and still benefit from the big acts drawing people into their casino.

Just like most of the buffets will probably never open again. They were not profitable at all and they wasted SO much food!! The casinos only had buffets to be competitive with all the other casinos who also had buffets.

No resort fee's....Guessing the other companies will do the same. Non-Vegas may fare better since they cater more to locals..Could all turn again over time when one starts and the others need to compete....I think for the short Term Vegas has plenty of people looking to get back out there so that may take time.

This was the list the last time we were in Vegas. The restaurants we ate at (Bugsy & Myers and Martorano's) took them but best to check first at restaurants.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210517/f3ce4aee5ef98943bffac4df486530bb.jpg

Yes, we used them at Vanderpump Garden and Martorano’s. We also loved the bar near the Sportsbook at Cromwell, really delicious craft cocktails!

This article has been floating around Facebook. I think (hope) it’s going to be each location’s individual decision.

Just my thoughts but I think it will take some time for the casinos to determine what perks/comps they can afford. Since the pandemic I imagine it’s been difficult to determine how many will visit the casinos.

I hope CET brings back the DL

The Horseshoe in Bossier has opened the Red Star Lounge where the LL was. Promises an upscale bar with proper dress code. LL is not mentioned for Horseshoe Bossier at this time.
