Its been a few years since Shamus and myself were at G2E and it was time for a reunion visit this year. We decided to go this year and here are two of our top ideas that caught our eye; "Cut to the Chase" and "No Lock Up, No W2-G's High Limit Wins". Shamus made two good You Tube videos to document these two ideas. He is so good at this that I wont bother posting any photos since his You Tube video does a great job. Enjoy!

I saw the No Lockup-----That seems to really skirt the rule, while it got the regulators ok I wonder how the IRS will feel. I like the idea of it but they should really just change the limit.

Not sure I understand. If the point of the game is to not lock up the machine for a handpay I get it.

But if the game skirts the W2g rule on winnings over $1199 I’m curious how that works

That’s interesting. I’m assuming it requires an additional bet for each spin in the spin bonus ? I recall some older aristocrat high limit games where you pay for each bonus spin so it avoids the total bonus to go over $1200 so no w2-g.

I agree though would rather see the limit increased to $5k or something like that.

Shamus and I were both curious how it got regulatory approval as I agree it does skirt the W2g rule but the individual free spins of $1000 or less seems to please the regulators. It will be interesting to see if this ever really rolls out nationwide.
