Anyone have any plans to be there? I went last year (visited Titan 360 and got in all types of trouble if you recall! :violin:)
Southwest has an amazing $107 one-way fare on Thanksgiving for BWI-LAS, although double that to return on Saturday. If I can get them to bring that down, I may go again this year. I booked Thur/Fri comp'd at The Linq in the event I can score a sweet fare.

Yes it is Linda! Win there, fly to Vegas. (Easy!) :D
I think Southwest knows I'm looking as they changed Saturday to $231 to $265, wrong way! I want under $300..work with me!

How about if you stay until that Monday? It will most likely be much cheaper and it would not be such a quick trip! ;)

Surprisingly Monday is more expensive, Sunday is outrageous! I think if you stay till Tuesday, it gets a little better. There is already someone in the office who claimed the whole week after for vacation, my other predicament to get vacation time approved. I need cheap, quick, and fun! :very_drunk:

Jump on that, you can always change it for free to a different city or date.

Southwest continues it's high priced from Columbus.

Ken, my family and I will be in Vegas for Thanksgiving. Don't know our exact dates yet, but we tend to go before Thanksgiving and then leave a day or two after it.

DH and I had thrown around a thanksgiving trip but I'm pretty sure he didn't choose any time off for that week when the selections came up so there goes that plan! He hasn't been to Vegas in years and I'd feel like a heel going again without him. Can't wait for retirement when we can go on a whim.

Cool! I enjoyed my time last year with your family. I'm going to see if the return segment drops any this week, if not I'll book the one way for $107 and keep an eye on the return. I like the Southwest credit, but the less I need to put out of pocket up front the better. :)

You get on him next year to get it done! Hehe
People called me crazy for a two day trip to Vegas, but in my opinion 2 days in Vegas is better than no Vegas. Plus with a 4 day weekend and nothing needed to plan around work, it's a great excuse to jet set away. :)

I wouldn't want to Hijack CPT's thread so I started another one titled Delta Downs but that could be a misnomer - HHH!

That's a great way to do it since Southwest lets us change and cancel out without penalty. If you make it for Thanksgiving you are welcome to join us again.

Well after checking fares daily (sometimes multiple times!), the fares only decided to go up and down, but never cheaper than what they are started at. The early AM nonstop flight sold out, so I figured if I wanted to go, I have gotta book it now before the others sell out. $374 round trip, which is much cheaper than the legacy carries (United/American/etc). $399 total with EB boarding, I'm in!

Still booked at Linq, may switch to Cosmo for Thanksgiving nigh when the offer arrives. Vegas Vegas Vegas!

I went to Vegas for Thanksgiving a few years ago and loved it.. If I can bail on family plans I'm definitely going again this year.

If you do, please let us know, would love to meet up! My family knows it's a 4 day weekend and I'll most likely be ditching them for a casino. We have the "see you when I get back" mentality.hehe

Of course as I would love to meet up too. When I saw Diana last month she mentioned you were planning on coming for Thanksgiving and to let her know if I plan on coming.

Whenever I look at fares now, I use private browsing, especially on Delta etc., I know they track "shoppers" and the price is always higher the second time checking.

I'm hoping you can bail on them. Okay, I'm naughty and I know it, LOL!
