when Harrah's Cherokee is booked over the 4th of July weekend? You use Allen's Marriot rewards to book a room at the Fairfield Inn directly across the street from the casino for free! That's right, I am going to be hunting buffalo and wolves that weekend! :cheer2: We are both off that Friday so we decided to go for one night!

We were looking at hotels and they were running $150-200 per night! Leaves a bad taste in my mouth to pay for a room to gamble. HHH!

Been to Vegas for the 4th many times, usually hôtter than hêll but crowds aren't too bad. But this year on a Friday will a little more of a problem. Usually a lot of Europeans there as Europe is on vacation.

It's hard to get a room at Cherokee on any weekend, much less a holiday weekend!! Congrats on the freebie. Once you get that diamond card, you should be able to get a room any time there.

DW, even as Diamond player, I have a hard time getting comped room on the weekends in Cherokee. Especially for the summer.
Cherokee is a big 7 Stars property - they get all the rooms.

Actually - it must be only if you are a 7 star player there. I contacted a host there a year or so ago - and he told me no rooms available during the summer. He said they have more 7 star players than any other CET property.

I heard that when we were there in November. With no other casino around I can believe it. Hopefully the new Murphy location will help that.
