@zeus. I'm with you on hoping it will free up some rooms at Cherokee. I'm sure they have planned for expansion already at the new casino hoping to get a lot more of the GA traffic.

Yeah! That seems so long ago! I will definitely go there some time. The Earl is one of my favorites. Love the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich.

Yep! On PL at that time. If memory serves me correctly, you were with DW and, I think your uncle was there also. We never did get to meet up. One of theses days I'll be back!!

So, North Carolina is getting a second casino this month. It will be 1/3rd the size of the current Cherokee casino. I am wondering what the folks in Georgia feel about the new casino? It will be closer to you, but the lack of size and eateries seem disappointing. Will you drive further to Cherokee due to the amenities and use Valley River for a quick fix?
