I have a question. It's been so long since I've cruised to Bermuda so I guess the laws have changed. The casino was open when you were at dock in Bermuda? Last time I cruised, the casino was only open while we were out to sea. It wasn't allowed to be opened when we were docked in Bermuda.

That's great that they have a Kids Club to watch younger kids so that the parents can have some fun adult time alone. I'm happy to hear you and your hubby were able to get out alone together multiple times throughout your trip.

Hope you earn that free cruise so that you can both get away alone in the fall!

@SlotMommy, yes the casino opens from 9 pm to 5 am (I think) while in port at Bermuda. There is also a teen club for 13-17 year olds but of course my middle one wouldn't go there but my little guy loves the kids club! We had a great time and now can't wait for our next cruise.

@DK528, the beaches in Bermuda are very scenic. I already lost 5 pounds as of today, hopefully the other 5 comes off by the end of the week. I forgot about the salt!!! I never use salt anymore and my feet were so swollen by the end of the week, that's probably why!

What a fun family vacation with something for everyone. You really had some nice hits that kept you going and the pictures of Bermuda are beautiful. Thanks for sharing the trip with us and hope you are able to get the comp cruise for you and hubby.

Isn't Horseshoe Bay the most beautiful place on earth? Your pictures made me jealous! I am glad you got to check out Scuba Beach, too. I haven't made it there yet but from what I hear it is fine for just getting in some beach time without wandering far from the ship. It's great that your son is a history buff. My husband also did the fort and museum at the port and really enjoyed it. There is a ton of interesting history in Bermuda.

You sure had great hits in the casino! I am very impressed. Wondering how you feel payouts compare to land based casinos? People always say payouts on cruises are terrible (and many won't play in them) but my experience overall has been that they are pretty comparable. I love playing in a ship casino knowing that my play is likely going to earn me a comped cruise!

I hope the credit to your account has been resolved. If by some chance it doesn't get taken care of, try to insure that the points are returned to your account and they can be applied next time. But it sounds like they planned to give you more than the actual value of the points, so I would pursue it first!

@Nhcris, we had such a great time! Horseshoe Bay Beach is beautiful, I'm so happy we got to see Bermuda. My parents honeymooned there and I'd like to think of them being happy there.

Honestly, I did get nice hits but in between were a lot of dead spins, I did lose most of my BR even though I had all of those hits. But I think I got better hits on the ship than I've been getting in AC lately!

I have been so busy with work that I haven't checked to see if the credit got applied. I'll probably look into it over the weekend.
