Been super busy, doing repairs on our rental so new tenants could move in. Almost finished and can't wait to get back to my cups.
I can't wait to see pics of Laurie using her cup.
I was able to spend a few minutes in my craft shack last night and got this adult item made. This is the first one I've made. Here's a pic of an Elusive Dragon in its natural environment.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c224401409.jpg
I don't want to offend anyone, so if the pic bothers you, please let me know and I'll delete the pic.
I just realized I haven't posted in awhile. I created a Facebook page and have slowly - really slowly been posting on there. So here are some projects for your viewing pleasure. Caution, I am teaching myself video editing. https://business.facebook.com/Southe...2729181496614/

That's beautiful, Darlene!!
Life in retirement sure has been different than I thought it would be, (damn Covid). I've still been crafting alot and finally remembered to put some pics together to share with y'all.

This is one I was just playing around trying to come up with a sunsety background - not really a success, but I liked the colors anyway. Wasn't sure what to put on it, found this wolf and decided to see how it would look.

This one was ordered by a nurse and will be delivered this weekend.

This one was a request by my 16 year old great niece, and approved by her mother and will be picked up in the next few days.
I have photos of another that I completed for a Joker, and will share the pic, if she is OK with it. I have some others, that I haven't photographed yet, but will put post them when I do.
They are awesome, @Darlene. The wolf one is really great.
Those look great! What a fun way to make some extra cash. Keep posting pictures please. [emoji3]
Dusting off those rusty sewing skills. I finished this cute little crossbody cellphone purse today, my granddaughter claimed it even before it was finished and came over and now it's in her happy possession. I'll definitely make more of these as I think it would be a perfect casino purse. A zippered pocket for daily BR, a zippered pocket for money to take home and a larger zippered pocket to keep keys, TITOs, lighters, cigarettes, etc. and a slip pocket on the back for a cellphone.Attachment 11891
Beautiful!
That crossbody purse looks amazing! You definitely have the sewing skill!
Thank you.
Thank you, it is fun and since I retired I can craft at my own pace and it's awesome.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you, there are imperfections, but I'm sure the the next one will be better.
Sitting home, reading the KC thread and wishing I was there, but since I'm not. I worked on some keychains. Attachment 11892
These are for my great niece and great-great-niece in California. My sister requested them as a surprise and is taking them to Cozumel this weekend as they will be meeting up for a family vacation. The green one was a specific request for my great niece, but the blue one she gave me free rein on, so knowing that Nelle who is 12, is an avid reader and really into Greek mythology. I printed pages from The Odyssey, aged them and them used them on the cup. Attachment 11951 Attachment 11952
The blue one is awesome!
You are so creative!
I had this brilliant idea to try and make a winner's bank style purse for when I go to Vegas, so that I won't give my winnings back. I started with the pattern for the cellphone purse I made my granddaughters and added a double zipper on the bottom pocket and a grommet. Put a small lock on it and made sure that money rolled up fits. Now to get to Vegas and test it out.

Life has been crazy and I haven't been able to craft much. My father has been in and out of the hospital and now my step-mother is in. My father can't stay by himself due to his health issues, so my sisters and I are taking care of him 24/7 (thank goodness for sisters). We are all wearing a little thin, but they are determined to stay in there home. Difficult discussions are ahead.
I was able to finally finish matching tumblers for Vernon and my granddaughter Skyler. She has finished her USMC service and will be transitioning to civilian life now. She had asked me to make them something special to honor their service. No pressure, YIKES!!! The only thing she requested was that it had the word SQUID on the bottom (some USMC thing). These are works from the heart and I was surprised that the vision in my head actually came out on the tumblers. She has not seen them yet and will not see them until I can deliver in person and see her face. Attachment 12442
I also tried my hand at making a pen, it was fun and something I will be doing more of once I get some free time. Attachment 12443
Sorry to hear about the family health issues - the struggle of dealing with aging parents. Beautiful work! The pictures on the side are a keepsake for sure. And the pens are really cute.

Beautiful work. I love the one you made for me. You are so talented. Sorry to hear about your parents. I understand the difficult discussion that will have to take place.
Such talent! I hope you get more time to your crafts.
