I would imagine so yeah! My Caesars app went crazy to let me know that Harrah's Ak Chin is open. On the app it says I have $85 in free play a week there. Although I got a separate email for $25 on Saturday. It might be both! It might be worth the weird travel for that kinda dough..Haha
I hope so! Plan is to go to Wild Horse today but they open at noon. Thinking around 2pm the initial line will be inside so will try then. If they are at capacity Lone Butte is 2 miles away and I saw they converted their bingo hall into a slot room so they have more machines.
If that doesn’t go I’ll end up at Ak Chin or will just go to the Fort later on. Either way I’ll be pushing some buttons today !

Come on down! Apparently people from Vegas are coming here to gamble now too.

also- in the article there's a great video now they just made of how the casino looks and feels like inside, shows people playing, etc.

Based on the story in the Review Journal and @kdk, it sounds like the NV Govenor better reopen soon or their players may relocate to Phoenix.
So i went yesterday to Angel of the Winds casino. Entered lot and registered in their virtual cue over the phone. Took 1.5 hrs to get in. Wont do this again for a while but im sure as other casinos open, it wont be a problem.
While i was waiting in the car, i noticed alot of people getting together and chatting. No masks and 2 ft apart. Mostly young adults and 60 to 70 yo men. Seemed like the old guys would initiate the convo. As i said before, this age group is most susceptible and most likely to not give a f... upset by this. I was afraid one of the old guys would pop their head in my window to try and chat.
Once i got texted, ID and temp check at door and was good to go.
Machines were easy to get on. 50% capacity so was not packed. If slots were grouped in 2, they were both on. If a bank of more than 2, every other slot was off . Lots of staff were spraying something on panels as they walked by empty slots. No plexi dividers at slots or tables. Everyone required to wear masks.
Overall i didnt like the waiting and mask was annoying but seemed the same otherwise. Non smoking was nice . My clothes didnt stink.

@TwoArmedBandito, was there a line of cars waiting to get in to the parking lot itself? From what I've read, it sounded as if cars were backed up to the interstate exit. Also, what time did you go? (They could have at least given you that first "welcome back" jackpot....)
My Diamond Elite friend from Philly says Harrah's Philadelphia is shooting for a June 15th reopening, which I think is doubtful considering they are in one of the highest infect areas. They offered hime $2500 in free play to come in right away. They gonna be THIRSTY!
the locals around here
grand falls
royal river
mystic lake
all opening up mid next week
I remember those days you were a high roller! Haha The same guy trying to get to 7 Stars is encouraging us all to bring a grand to AC to help him get to 7 Stars. I'm like dude, my 6 days in Nevada trips are like $1400, for 6 days. You wanna blow the grand in high limit in less than 30 seconds. No thanks I'm good! Haha
I enjoyed the luxury penthouse suites, limo service, free cigarettes, drinks, and meals, but my problem was that I lost it ALL every single trip. I figured out I had lost over a million dollars in 30 years from 1983 to 2013 before I finally cut back on the number of casino trips a year and the size of my bets.
It was a fun ride but now it's over hhh
all day today I have been getting notifications about local casinos opening. Some on Friday.
I have zero interest until I see how this plays out. We have been successfully practicing self stay at home for 65 days with just trips out for necessary items. Last thing on my mind is entering a casino. I will in due time. It's just not a priority. I really don't miss the feeling of driving home, mad at myself for losing a couple of hundred dollars, several times a week.
Our local says it isn't ready to open yet. I miss it, but don't plan to go when they first open anyway. Have a trip planned for Tunica end of August-hopefully by then they will have worked out the "reopening kinks" and things will be better. I will likely go to the local some time before, but it depends on when they reopen. I have gone out only for needed items and to take my husband for treatment and appointments. (Except for walks outside when the weather is nice). I wait in the car for him. Fortunately I worked from home anyway. I have no desire to be around crowds. 36% of Wisconsin COVID-19 patients were between the ages of 40 and 59.
Just read over proposed guidelines for PA casinos reopening.
"Players at slot machines shall wear face masks per guidance by theCDC and PA DOH."
I've also heard that Borgata in AC WILL require face masks while playing. Seems like it's mixed on a suggestion and a requirement. Will be interesting to see how they handle it!
RIGHT ! ...And i really dont want to go to one that only has half the machines open as well . After all we are adults and we are the ones making the decision to enter a place that may have a c 19 infection in it . i all most look at it like entering a store to do my shopping ..im certainly taking the same amount of risk . hmmmm did some one drool on this steak or sneeze on that box of crackers .

was suppsed to be flying to Vegas tomorrow
rebooked for july since cruise is cancelled and got a $72 allegiant credit!
hopefully vegas back to somewhere more normal by then and all resorts open
Biloxi casinos open tomorrow except the Beau which will be opening June 1. Have not heard why the Beau is later. We may go out Friday and check out how our favorite places are set up. Do know that temps will be taken, all staff will wear masks and patrons are encouraged to wear masks but it's not mandatory. Casinos will close at 3am for cleaning. Will post more after scouting it out Friday. No way we are going anywhere near them tomorrow, HHH

Our casinos are opening on Friday.
I had a reservation at NoMad for June 14. Got an email tonight asking if I would let them rebook me at Bellagio in a comparable room. I’ve already decided not to go June 14 but decided to let them rebook me. I’m curious to see what room they consider comparable. I had one of the best suites at NoMad booked. We’ll see what I end up with at Bellagio.
I see Tulalip (Seattle area) is opening next week, May 26. Masks required, but smoking still allowed. Now @TAB can get back to work on his jackpot quota!
I am reading all of Northeast PA bitching on our local news Facebook page about casino openings. It also reads that customers cannot wear hats, probably for facial recognition purposes. So many rules!
