I so agree @Pat and @RiverSong. We have met some wonderful new folks as a result of this and our forum will be better for it!

I have been here since day one and have never heard that this was going to be a "no rule" forum. I believe the term was "not over-moderated". And I totally agree with others, we have met some great people as a result of the 10 post rule.
We met some great people already with the 10 post rule. I don't see how changing to 25 will help. We have moderation Kenny style! In that the moderation isn't full lines , but the payouts are huge.

My personal opinion is that this is not a "rule", even though worded that way. It's merely a suggestion to introduce yourself so we know who is at least reading our posts. I know there are a few people of my "past" who swore me off, but continued to view this forum almost daily since inception. So it's simple, either tell us who you are and that you are here or..

I love meeting new people and so far I also think this "Rule" has been great! :D
well said @ CPT
I've been a member of this forum for over a year but have never actually introduced myself. I'm definitely more of a lurker than a poster but do enjoy posting on the game type threads such as counting to 777 and one word name change. I live in Pensacola FL so my local gambling destination is Biloxi which is about 1.5 hours from my front door to the Beau. We also go to New Orleans once or twice a year and just got back from Tunica MS which is about a 7 hour drive for us. We went to Vegas in April and am seriously thinking about going back for Halloween if we can find some decent airfare and a bankroll. Have also gambled in Atlantic City, Reno, Laughlin, Lake Tahoe, the Hard Rock in Tampa, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun so think we've hit just about all the major gambling destinations in America. We also gambled in Niagara Falls, Canada. It's been so long ago I don't remember the name but it was within walking distance of the Falls. I work for the U.S. Navy and lived in Spain from 2010 to 2013 so also did some gambling in Europe - Spain, Gibraltar, Italy and Germany. You would think with all that gambling I could say I've hit several hand pays but unfortunately that's not the case. I've only had 3 hand pays in almost 20 years of gambling and six or seven royal flushes at quarter denom. Hope I didn't go overboard with the introduction [emoji12]

Hope this picture doesn't offend anyone but here is my favorite photo from my last trip to Vegas. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...1e5fd88110.jpg

A big joker hello the all of you new or newly introducing of yourselves peeps. My name is Angela, I'm a twin and normally I post a shit ton. This year has been a challenge taking care of an injured mom since Jan 2nd. The light is becoming brighter at the end of the tunnel though and mom retires next Thursday!!!! In the next few weeks I'm hoping to be back to my normally ridiculous amount of posting.
Please don't be shy or afraid to show up at a meet/get together. I have met people that I will be life long friends and had some of the best times EVER!!!
Ang
Thanks for the wonderful introduction! You really have hit uo all of the major gambling destinations. Very envious of you for being 1.5 hours from Biloxi. But then again that could be detrimental to my retirement account. [emoji50] I hope Halloween in Vegas works out for you. [emoji106]
Thanks for the great introduction. The guy with the FU sign made me laugh.
@JerricaKimber, that was a great intro! That picture is too funny :D You are most definitely a full fledged Joker!
Welcome jerrica. Love the f u sign and Def a joker!

It's the literary version of the Joker's Salute!
Welcome to all new posters. I am not a big poster but now that I have entered the 21st century and gotten a smart phone who knows. I do know that I have met so many wonderful people here. Some in person and some just through posting. This thread was a great idea @CPT.
While I may not like the 10 post rule,I understand why it was instituted. Having lurked on this site ( an others ) without ever posting I am amazed at what people share. I will try to join in mainly because I have enjoyed reading your posts and have learned a lot from them.
Hi teach thanks for stopping by . i guess i dont under stand Not wanting to post on a forum website . But im a chatty person ill talk to just about anyone . hope you can break out of your shell and share some wins and stuff you've done at the casino . or even if you passionate about traveling or what ever there is lot of different forum category's to share in .
Don't have to "like" it, but you gotta follow it.
And I'm glad you did @teach! It's nice to "meet" people and get to know each other doing what we like to do - gamble.
I don't see why anyone would want to just read strangers' posts and not comment. It's not hard to say "congrats" or "great TR."
I'm hoping all the lurkers that came out of hiding continue to contribute.

You do have a point @nenshee21.
@CPT I just came across these 10 post rule posts.
I think it a good and fair rule. Nothing oppressive or burdensome. It just feels good to have some interaction on a casual basis in a very limited sense if that is how one chooses to participate. But the casualness is not without meaning - the minimal expectation might be that the interaction is genuine and that does seem to be too much to ask for.
Thank you

Rules blow! Hopefully I'll get my 10 posts in soon so I can express my feelings candidly. Wait....do I already have 10 posts? I do! Great rule them! Lol

Hello lurkers! I feel like I'm one myself these days, because I never seem to have time to post. Will try to set a better example. :D
In the meantime, welcome, and hope you enjoy making friends with some of the wonderful people on this forum!
@boots, so many of us have been fortunate to meet you in person. It's all good
Ackk!! You keep forcing me to post. I LIKE being a lurker-lol! Seriously, love reading everyone's TR's, just too lazy to do any myself. Rarely take pic's on vaca, so don't even have those to post. Just returned from AC where my DH and myself had a blast. Hadn't been for 2 years and still love it dearly, but DESPISE Spirit airlines and will never fly them again.
Stayed at Taj, Bally's then back to Taj when flight was cancelled. We are low rollers and we (especially me) bounce from machine to machine. Mainly penny video machines but I'm starting to lean toward quarter reels because I truly can't stand the terrible paybacks on new video machines (Britney, Game of Thrones, etc) Glad to see it for AC. Never had problems with Spirit before, but this time was horrific. Their customer service is beyond terrible.
Hi flmojo well come to the forum .thanks for sharing .
Just for the record, I whole heartedly agree with the 10 post requirement. I just hope you all don't get more than you expect because I'm pretty snarky. You'll probably be begging me to stop with the postings-haha!
Welcome to the forum flmojo. Glad you had great time in AC.
Welcome to JW flmojo!

Welcome flmojo! We don't mind snarky at all, and some of us quite enjoy a bit of back and forth at times. If you been watching us for a while, then you know that we are not afraid to go there, wherever there is!
