Everything looks terrific! And you guys look like you were born to cruise :)
That tequila menu made me positively giddy. I could get in big trouble with that!
Have a wonderful day at Trunk Bay. Can't wait to see your pictures.
You are doing amazing jobs with updates. Thank you!
captain didnt make mention of different dock so who knows maybe always go to this one
I think that is the normal spot for the Symphony. That pier was a Navy Pier and has only been used for cruise ships fairly recently, if I understand correctly. I have never been there, so I have no clue what it is like, but probably good that you are taking an excursion as it sounds like it is a bit farther away from the action.
First I'm drooling over the scenery, then I'm drooling over the food porn, then I'm wondering how you two are keeping up with all the activities that you're posting about. This cruise is just amazing. They should pay you a commission for all the new and returning cruisers you're motivating. :)
Damn gonna need a vacation from a vacation.

I thought you might get a kick out of this comparison between your first cruise ship and mine, Derek.
The Symphony of the Seas weighs 228,081 gross tons. She carries up to 6680 passengers and a crew of 2200.
The Starship Majestic weighed 17,042 gross tons. She carried up to 760 passengers and a crew of 390.

And there she is in all her glory. Oh how the times have changed!!!
I guess our first cruise 25 years ago on the Regal Empress, the ship must have been huge at 23k tonnage and 1,300 passengers. [emoji23] Best staff and food we ever experienced on a cruise.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ff00a26758.jpg

Oh wow Derek the pictures are outstanding!! Thank you so much for taking the time to post. Just curious, how much time have you guys been given at each port from disembarkment to "last call, we're leaving without you"?

love and marriage game show later on gonna be lots of laughs at that later i am sure
4 nights and our Tim was 3 years old. At that time it was affiliated with Disney and had Disney characters and great kid care onboard. No balconies but 6 course white tablecloth dinners every night. The seas were rough and I was terrified. But we were hooked! And just under 8 months later our Mitch showed up prematurely ;)
Bummer about the snorkeling at Trunk Bay. [emoji852]

You guys should have submitted yourselves to be a couple for Love and marriage!
Our first cruise (on the Disney Magic) we didn’t know anything about these games and volunteered to be the newlywed couple since we were only a year plus in. We’ve never laughed so hard! And definitely did not win! We’ve only observed the game since, lol!
We participated in the adult scavenger hunt also and that was also beyond fun!
Also, we were on a cruise where people missed the boat. They had a coast guard or police boat drive them to the ship, and then connected to our ship to escort them back on about 45 minutes after we left port, we were able to watch it all from our balcony (along with a ton of other people on our side of the ship, hhh!)
Enjoy the sea day!

Need an answer from all the veteran Cruisers what is the easiest and less hassle method. walking off with bags early departure or leaving later and dealing with trying to find bags once unloaded? do they sorta split them up once unloaded into same markings as luggage tags??

Derek your assistance is needed in the server room, I’m working on antiquated equipment haha

It depends what time your flight out is, but I almost always put mine out the night before. On most ships, they will give you colored luggage tags. Then they are sorted out by color, and you will go to the section with your particular color. Usually, it is pretty simple and works well.
If you have an earlyish flight where you are at all concerned about timing, it is worth it to carry them off yourself. Especially if they are easy to handle, but sometimes the elevators are jammed on departure day so you may have to do some stairs.
