I sanded it down last night to match the legs I sanded down to the bone last night. ( we call that naked).. it is going to look amazing against the white inside.

This will be waiting for me upon my return. A table this large that seats 10 will go for 898.. and I purchased it all plus delivery of table for 150. I will take a shit ton of time and paint.. but oh so worth it!

I wondered the same thing about the filigree in the door. My son found one of these pieces a few years ago, gave it to my neighbor (she and her sister do this work too) to do whatever she wanted with it. It was in such bad shape that she decided she wouldn't sell it, but she worked on it when she had time. She ended up doing it in all white except for the inside back wall was sort of an old fashioned small flower wallpaper. She calls the piece, "Grandma," and she has it in an all-white spare bedroom she redid in her house. It is precious.

Yesterday I bought (on Facebook Marketplace) a Queen. A long nine drawer, a tall 9 drawer and two night stands... 100 bucks.

Will be hitting the ground running this week. Have 3 table sets we need to do.

Reality of this side job.. those chairs I went and picked can be recovered.. it is a true reupholstery process and Lacy and I don’t do that. Hope I can sell them and at least get my money back

Today I did labor.. but loaded up the shop with some really beautiful stuff.

The big ass table I am working on is done. 72 inches.. plus two 18 inch leafs and 8 chairs.

The backs of the chairs are stained to match the table top.

Yep.. I am working on one now, not quite as big, but will have 5 chairs and a bench. Picked up two night stands on my lunch hour. Lacy and I are picking up a table and 6 chairs at 5. Not working in the shop tonight.. need to mow my grass.
