As I get ready for another multi day casino trip, I would love to know how my Fellow Jokers handle their bankrolls. I am not looking for any info about the amount of your bankrolls. Please share comments, suggestions, and words of wisdom!

I just know what I have and how much I can use in a day....strangely no matter how much I have had to drink I somehow keep track and never use the next days money
Envelopes, but I will rob them if need be. I try my best to make it work though!
We do not use the envelope system, but we do take an allotted amount for each day and it typically works out fine. When that money is gone when have been known to hit the ATM a few times. (I believe some of you may call them a MAC). If you have been to Cherokee you have used the atm. HHH!
Lately, it seems I have lost all control and it just goes... Being I will be in AC 5 days, I better find the control or else I will be miserable!! Really just need to stay out of HL room and away from 3 card poker!
Only carry my daily allotment and when it's done, Im done. Unless I've consumed to many cocks, then all bets are off! HHH
Divide total br up into set Mount of days And throw it in the safe.
Don't take next days bankroll out until 1st days br totally gone.
Made it to 3rd day of trip over the 4th before I had to dig into the next br set of $
Also throw All hp$ into safe and do no touch that no matter what.
This method seems to work best for me in hopes of bringing home $.
In the past I have taken 40-50% of br down with me and it can get dangerous and blow that All on same day of not hitting much
So I prefer 1st method
We have a set amount per day.. which DH seems to stick too, but I don't. I normally do hog wild my first day. If I am being resonable, I leave the money and my debit card in the room so I have to walk all the way back to get additional funds. If I know that .. then I might refrain a little.. but if I win at all.. I cannot seem to save that money. I also normally have a secret stash.. so I may blow into that. If DH is around, then I try and tell him if I won, so I have to be accountable. If I hide it, I will blow it! So I will say - I SUCK at Bankroll Management.
Does anyone here use a Winner's Bank? I am seriously looking at ordering one.
@Nhcris I apologize for hijacking the thread. [emoji20]

Yes I got a few of them in Vegas for helping with the "other forum". I never liked having my money not accessible far from home, so I'd take the key with and it was pointless. But if you leave the key at home, it's worthwhile! If I could find it I'd give you mine, but no clue where it ran off too let alone the key hehe
No banning here. The only way out is to beg.
We are having a hard time deciding on what our daily BR should be. We do not use envelopes. We do have a set amount for a day but have never used all that up in any single day. Remember, we do play the CET bonus system. One day we may get $13,000 coin in and the next day $700 coin in. Also we are late to the slotting game. Only been doing this 4 years or so. The internal struggle within. Ultra low roller, but realize the value we get from Diamond and higher ADT perks. Not being real gamblers it comes down to value received versus cost.
I have one bankroll for where I stay - which gets the vast majority of my play. That bankroll is divided by the number of days I'm there. I generally end up losing most of this money. I keep a separate bankroll for other casinos I plan to play at during the trip. Any left over money or wins from the other casinos goes home with me.

In Vegas, I have to use a daily envelope system but overnighters, I usually work off my total BR
I have one and while the idea is swell, it's really hard for me to get the bills folded small enough to get them through the slot and after the initial deposit it seems other bills won't go in on top of those already in there - honestly, I am the only person who could mess up using a winners bank HHH... Right now it's stuck in the back of a cabinet somewhere, empty HHH sigh...
It's just easier to leave the ATM card at home or in the car - it's safe to take a credit card on the floor cause if you've ever looked at the fee for a cash advance at the ATM from one it will knock you flat wham! back into your senses lol...
If you leave the key at home, what happens if the TSA guy wants to see what's inside?
We just take whatever we think will get us through and manage it on the fly. No system.
We take a set amount each trip but if we're having fun, We have no issue getting more if necessary and we blow through it before the end of our trip, HHH! I do stash big win Titos and money in secret pockets in my purse (like a winners bank I can access if I remember to look!) that I cash in at the end of our trip, works for us!
If we are losing a lot quickly, we definitely take breaks to see if the tides will turn later (easy to do because if we are losing a lot, we aren't having fun and don't feel like playing).
Mine is different. I bring it all down. Change 100's into 20s . If 20 turns to 40 or ideally more. I cash out. Stick new 20 in. Repeat. End of session I combine titos. Always have money at the end. Hopefully more than I started with.

I have a set amount each day AND the ATM! No discipline!
I always try to stick to a set amount each day. I hate going into the next day's money early! I actually do ok with this. If I lose too much too quickly, it's not fun anymore and I end up wanting a break from it and don't really have the urge to throw more money quickly after losses. There is always the next day!

We just take our roll and I split it up with paper clips so much per day for multi day trips. Leave all but the current days in safe in room. Like TAB, 20 in 40+ cash out. I keep them and combine at end. I try to tax myself 50% of titos, the rest goes back into BR.

I think you made an exception one time. Darrell from WI got banned for life in favor of DarrellK. Remember that @CPT ? HHH

I divide my BR into am and pm allotments and use pockets not envelopes.
I tried envelopes once and only ended up with torn envelopes all one day haha. I don't have good BR management, that's why I'm finding 2-3 days max is probably better for me. That way I can play as hard as I want to and not have to worry about being stuck somewhere with no money to play.
I have tried many of the strategies that were mentioned but at the end of the day - it comes down to discipline. Some trips I have it and some trips I don't. Good luck finding a system that works for you!

Some interesting ideas! I was a daily envelope person until recently, but after a while I found that I was a rotten thief. I stole from Tuesday & Wednesday on Monday and then felt guilty. The last couple of trips I was less rigid, and seemed to do a bit better overall.
Last couple of trips I divided the bankroll up more by where I was staying. In Vegas in particular I stay longer and usually make a couple of moves. Last trip I had bankroll for Reno, bankroll for Tahoe, a small bankroll for 4 Queens and bankroll for Palazzo. That was a long trip but I came home with some cash. On those long trips I don't bring the entire bankroll, so I moved winnings forward and didn't even make my last planned withdrawal which was nice. For this AC trip I have a night at Foxwoods, 3 at Borgata and a night at Mohegan Sun, so I think I will break it up in 3 (uneven) chunks and see how it goes. I will also bring a little extra for the stumble but not much.
I don't think I could do the $20 in and $40 or more out. I like to play off the same tito all day (or at least the morning, afternoon or evening) when I can. It helps me keep better track. When I start feeding twenties into the machines I have absolutely no idea what I have done until it's all gone. It's much easier for me to keep track if I start out with a hundy. I bet it's fun to count up a fistful of titos at the end of the day though!
Bankroll management is such a huge challenge. The most important thing for me is to STOP for awhile when things are going badly. Eating, taking a walk, changing casinos, or even going to take a pee usually seem to break the cycle.
