Me too, Platinum, I was Diamond for 5 years, it sucks, but I haven't changed, they have, by tightening up!
Yeah harder to reach the higher tiers at all places it seems

Maybe you will be able to make Diamond in a Day this year. I have been Diamond for several years but rarely use the benefits. When I go to Vegas, I take advantage of the two free show tickets and use the diamond lines for buffets. I have never used the celebration dinner and only recently found out about it.

If it's any consolation, if your demotion was to Platinum(Aluminum haha) in Vegas there are still special lines at check in and cashiers. So there is that. I don't know about the buffet because I haven't eaten at a buffet in Vegas since I was maybe 13? So a long long time ago.
