This would just further destroy Vegas. I hope it never happens.

There is no way regulators would allow this without them selling off some properties, especially in Vegas. The only positive for me is if Cherokee was an MLife property. But I hope it does not happen.

Doubt it would get thru regulatory without some huge conditions, like sell off 30-40% of Vegas properties Probably need to get rid of at least one in AC too. I think it would be bad for the payers with one company having so much concentration.
No way will that happen too much of a monopoly imho

I posted this article on the 5th. In addition to everything discussed here -- when this kind of an offer is made -- MGM will get a chance to see the books in detail. Yes, if there is a deal -- likely MGM would have to sell some of the casinos -- but their are lots of buyers out there! It's a strong time to sell for a week company:
