Europe Again!! [emoji568]

We are flying out of DesMoines Thursday on another European cruise!!
The ports this time were chosen mainly so foamy and his buddy Scott could see Croatia where their ancestors are from. Our Son is also joining us. Was really surprised he was interested. It will be his first cruise. Scott hasn’t been on one in like 10 years.
It starts in Italy where we are spending the night before the ship sails. Stops are 2 in Croatia, another in Italy, France and ending in Spain where we will stay for one night before heading home. Have some excursions booked through Royal Caribbean for most of the stops.
Getting excited but a little nervous not having Derek to lead us around lol but he did his usual excellent job of booking everything [emoji7] will have internet on the ship and international cell phone service so will try to send some pictures and updates

My daughter and her boyfriend are flying to Croatia today for a long vacation. They are also going to visit Germany before stopping in Seattle in 2 weeks to see the Ohio State vs Washington football game.

I never thought I would ever like cruising so I never went on one until I won a 7 day Caribbean cruise in a sales contest back in 1986.

Sharon and I loved it so much that that we booked 31 cruises during the next 23 years.

Perfect weather!
Couldn’t get the forum to come in using the hotel WiFi but working now. Outside waiting to catch the Royal Caribbean bus to the cruise port about an hour and a half away
Really enjoyed Venice. Should have stayed another night. Took 2 water taxis to get from our hotel to the canal / square area loved the architecture and atmosphere. Tons of restaurants and shops but we didn’t eat there because they gave us a breakfast before we got off the plane.
Ate dinner at our hotel. They had pizza that was really good and the local beer that was good too lol

Oh thanks for the pics. I loved the 3 days I was in Venice before my cruise. You brought back lovely memories. Can't wait for you to share the rest of your trip. I know it will be fun and exciting.
