All right lads and lass' I am posting a link to all the pictures that were taken on our Thanksgiving Cruise to the Bahamas. I will follow this post up with a trip report hopefully in a week. For now though, you can look at the pretty pictures. I believe they are for the most part shown in the order they were taken. Not sure how the google photos works just quite yet..but it was the quickest way to show over 200+ pictures.

Great pics, Rob! You really did a good job capturing your trip. And it was nice to see you actually smiling in one of them. You need to make that a resolution for 2016 to smile more. I make it a resolution to smack the shit out of you in KC when you're not smiling! :excitement:

@Curlyd and @MNvegasgal I tried looking at the album from Firefox and Internet Explorer and it still worked so I'm not sure why neither of you are able to see them. :/
I get about 15 or so and then a bunch of blank spaces and then some more at the end. Probably because I have an old dinosaur desktop LOL!

Yeah. I think it also may have to do with Internet connection and what your computer can handle. Idk. The suite was absolutely awesome!!! We didn't use the balcony as much as I wanted to because of the weather but still.Quote:

Was glad to finally see a break in the clouds and some sunshine in those photos - am sure you both were glad to see it also lol..
Am 39 days from first-ever southern Caribbean cruise with 4 coworkers sharing 2 adjoining suites - want you to be brutally honest. 1) Am I going to be seasick; and 2) Am I going to be fighting with the coworkers on the 7th day; and 3) Am I going to be seasick??
Go to the pharmacy and get an over the counter bottle of meclazine. You might have to have the pharmacy order it for you but sometimes they carry it. It usually costs around $10. I took it as a precaution for our first 2 cruises. You need to start the day before to have it in your system. Hubby and I had no side effects, didn't even know we were taking anything. The next 2 cruises we skipped it. We didn't get seasick.
Also if you have a nervous tummy take some ginger candy with you. Or you can get crystallized ginger to nibble on.
Just a few things that we tried.

What ship are you on? People have said on bigger ships you don't feel it as much...and I disagree. To be honest, before going on the cruise I wasn't the "Sea sick" on a boat type. I wasn't sea sick until the fifth day when we were heading back home and we hit 11 to 16ft waves. The ship was really rocking and I didn't leave my cabin at all that day...other than that one day, I wasn't sick at all. I got a sea sick band before I left though so that may have helped. It has a nice ball on it that hits a pressure point in your wrist that is supposed to subdue the feeling. I only had to take dramamine once (I believe). As for fighting with co-workers, it depends...have you travelled with these people before? Do you know their grooming habits? I think that may be the only thing to cause fights...otherwise just enjoy the beautiful scenery and the fun you're about to have. I had a blast and we didn't even do a lot of what most cruisesperts do on the ships.Quote:

Thank you, @Curlyd and @SoCalRob (don't know how to do double quotes on my tablet) - am embarrassed to say don't know the name of the boat other than it departs San Juan PR and its on Carnival and allegedly very very large - I will look up the name tomorrow, but am already calling it the Good Ship Upset Stomach HHH! I know I will be sick so will just plan on it - have some Antivert from an inner ear problem (it didn't help) but will start taking 24 hours before departure and will pick up some Emetrol antipuke and some Pepto Bismol also some rx promethazine as back up.. :chargrined:
Have worked with the coworkers for over 13 years through thick and thin - they've been on this cruise four (!) times already and I got jealous and said would go, so here I am just hole they don't snore or make other body noises arrrgh! :confused:
