With that much money, the temptation is way too great. Our kids would have trust accounts with quarterly withdrawals set up; we don't want them to ever get the idea that they don't have to pull their own weight - no "affluenza" with this family. Next up, a list of relatives and friends and a set amount (@1 mil. each) set up into trust accounts for them with a suggestion for them to get their own financial planner. Anyone coming out of the woodwork for a handout would have to go through the attorney and financial planner for approval. Definitely get a burner phone, move until it calms down and then have some fun. We have our own pet charities that we support, but we would like to take a cross country road trip and help where there is a need. Small town hospital needs a NICU; done. Homeless vets need housing and essentials; done, rural SPCA's need food, bedding, and supplies; done. There is no way on earth that we could go through that much money before we are dust, so why not put it to good use for others who really need it? That being said, yes, I would have my "secret stash" and hit some casinos on our road trip !!!
