I just got back a week ago from a Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean and I already booked the next one. Mom and I are going on Grand Princess out of San Francisco on a two week cruise to Hawaii. It's a year out but I am really looking forward to it. Plus, we get to spend a couple of days in San Francisco again.
That sounds wonderful...a two week cruise to Hawaii! I'm envious!
That is fantastic, Mary! Yeah, it is a year out, but time sure does fly by anymore so it will be here before you know it. Two weeks of not having a care in the world, having someone cook for you and make your bed, along with Hawaii! Sounds absolutely perfect. Congrats!
That will be a wonderful cruise!! I haven't been to San Fran since the early 80's but loved it.

I sailed on the Grand Princess when she was based in Galveston, back in 2006.
She's a pretty ship and I snagged a royal flush in the casino.
Yes, you will have all those wonderful sea days to play in the casino. A much better way to get to Hawaii than by air!

That sounds like such a great trip. I love Hawaii as I grew up in Guam. I feel at home on tropical islands, more Pacific than Atlantic though. Also a great trip for you Mom to Japan! All the best to her.
Hey Mary, I just realized I booked the exact same cruise as you, but not until April. Great minds think alike! I can't wait to hear all about it. It will be our first time to Hawaii and our first time on Princess, so lots of new things to look forward to. I am already studying excursions to make the most out of the time in port.
