Hi y'all !

Hi everybody! I used to mostly read/sometimes post on the old SMF board but kinda quit for a few years. When I got back on the new SF board I was curious about where a lot of people were. I found out about this board - and here y'all are! I hope it's ok to post on both boards - I have no idea what happened or why the split. I have been involved in lots of boards over the years and I always try to avoid all drama and non-fun

I love reading everyone's adventures and now that my youngest is out of college, I hope to be having more myself! I'm learning to post pics and I'm hoping to start videoing soon.

We live close to Houston so we consider Lake Charles (L'Auberge & Golden Nugget) and Coushatta my home casinos. I go to Oklahoma as often as I can - there are several I like up there including Winstar.

I'm looking forward to l lots of fun here !

Kim I know not of this Wisconsin Accent you speak of. I do however know a Texas accent when I hear one ! Ha Ha
I always thought of Wisconsinites sounding normal & people in the northeast like Boston & people in the south sounding different.
I guess it all depends on your perspective. Example we do not use y-all up here but i like it when I hear it. Had a coworker years ago from Oklahoma who used that expression a lot.

Ha! I never thought of it like Yankee (northeast) accent, more like a Happy Days accent - don't forget your sweater ! But he's learning !
