Do your offers come with weekend comped rooms too? I'm comped at Wynn/Encore but have never been offered a weekend stay, only reduced rate. I also don't play there often so maybe that has something to do with it...

Last year I stayed 3x, I go to Cosmopolitan 1st then Wynn. My comps have been over the weekend. This year will be once or twice @ Wynn.

I've never stayed at Palazzo/Ventian, however I plan to join their players club and play Thete in April.

River song, that's so nice that your host did that. I'm newish to Wynn, I stayed in Sept on no offer and put in about 10000 pts a day on no offer (comp room up front, no freeplay) and the host comped food on the back end. I was told I did not qualify for a ride to the airport. Then, in January I stayed on a drawing weekend which came with 300fp and 300 fb daily plus limo. I had a blast, did like 8000 points per day plus some tables. I wanted to come back for April but was sad to not have a promo. The host gave me 500fp and 200fb daily upfront. I'm really thankful and happy to stay as it is my fav casino....

I am a little fish at Wynn, but my host and her assistant are very nice and attentive. I don't require much, so I was surprised when my host called me on my birthday, arranged and comped a meal at Allegro and provided a BD cake along with the food treats and wine sent to my room.

RiverSong, if it pans out can I become an honorary Wynn Lady? But seriously, I appreciate your input and especially the pics. It has always seemed from your posts that Wynn takes care of you. If you are a little fish then I must be a tadpole.

MCP, that sounds wonderful! I have seen your hits and read your TR's, and can say that I am no where near the level of player you are. But I am glad to hear that they take care of you with nice offers, and also to hear that you really like the casino.

I need to give them more play as I love the two properties.. My only issue is that I have a really good host at Palazzo/Venetian so I tend to stay/play there when I go to Vegas.

If you want RFB be prepared to accumulate way more points than 3000... my feeling, and it's only my experience is, you'll need to accrue > 5000 points/day for that. That could be way off but my experience is Wynn expects a lot from their players for an RFB comp.

Since I'll be at Wynn next month I'll try to keep notes on my play and let you know how Wynn liked me
Before Edward left Wynn he told me for established Wynn players they expect 5k points a day for a comped room without Food. Previous years he had said about 4k, so it was like it went up, LOL! Would you mind asking your host next time you talk to her if that's still accurate or if it's less or more. I really would like to know before I book my next stay with them.

Hell, we can relax at home! And we also do not expect to be handed a ton of FP or RC's. Maybe just enough for a sandwich or two. HHH!

Now for the loaded question. Between the two companies, which do you prefer when it comes to the standard rooms? I have seen pictures of the rooms at all four properties and they all look very, very nice.

Clemi, good luck next month and I hope Steve opens his wallet to give you a few HPs!!! I look forward to hearing about it.

    Thanks again everyone!
Personally I would pick Venetian/Palazzo (Venetian recently renovated rooms, Palazzo is suppose to start later this year) over Wynn due to slot selection, 24 hour restaurant Grand Lux that has a reasonably priced menu with tasty food, and it's not that hard to get 20k points and become a Gold Grazie member which gives you access to the only VIP lounge on the strip (Other then Palazzo's Platinum) that is open 24 hours a day with complimentary food and drink. However if you are wining on your trip, then play at both, and see who gives you the best offers for the next trip.

Glad to hear that, lets play some pinball together at Venetian in April, or perhaps I'll just watch while you win at Pinball.

Thanks for your input, Diana. The Palazzo is a stunning looking property. The VIP lounge sounds like an added bonus!
