I would rather gamble on machines of choice vs playing 2 minute slot pounding if it was my $2500

I imagine most people pay these buy in fees with credit cards as well as bank cards. So it's not the same as being able to play regular machines. I think if I was guaranteed my buy in fee back. I would jump on the chance to play it. Cuz at least I'd get the money back even if in slot credits. It's cheaper than taking a cash advance.

I have a friend entering that tournament, her first I believe and I thought about also entering it, but my main problem with it is that if they get a good response to the tournament they can add people to it so then there's more then 150 participants. I did a buy in at Aria a couple years ago where they pulled that on us at the last minute and the main reason I was playing it was due to what I thought would only be X amount of participants. Since they are also giving $100 a day in food and drink I wouldn't expect any food at the tournament as usually the tournaments at V/P don't do that during their sessions instead they have food/drinks at the award distribution. However since I haven't been part of a $2500 buy in tournament at V/P before I might be wrong about what they will do as far as food/drink at this tournament.

If you have the extra money to spend and it sounds fun for you go for it. However, it's likely that being there 3 days anyone participating in it will also want to play slots since the tournament itself doesn't take up that much time so the money that might involved also needs to be a consideration.

At the moment I might go during those dates to cheer my friend on, but I don't think I'll buy into the tournament. On the other hand I just might, I'm struggling with it. LOL!

It's in the fine print of this offer that one must paid the full $2500 at time of booking via credit card and it's non-refundable.

The reason I did the 1k buy in at the Aria tournament was that even last place got the full buy in back at the end of the tournament as free play. The V/P offer of course isn't quite as good and only the first 25 places in each tournament will get the full buy in or more back.

I will say. The 1 in 4 of winning the buy in back doesn't seem that great.. And I dont know if Id want to start the trip off being down $2500 and then at the very least being down $1200(slot credit offer included in this figure) if I placed last in both tournaments. The offer does state though that each participant is guaranteed $1000. With no special mark next to it meaning if the amount of participants change the awarded amount for placement doesn't change. So if they add more, I'm guessing they'd still do 26th to last place gets $500 per tournament. I don't think they'd back out of that. So I think no matter what the amount of entrants is, it's still $1000 slot credit guarantee. Just not sure if that is in fact worth the $2500. I'm thinking I may skip this the more I think. I keep getting offers for tournaments there and Cosmo.

I agree with you that the amount from 26th to last place would not change if they let in more participants, of course I might be wrong about them letting more in at the last minute like Aria did since the fine print says sign up by May 8th for Tournament. I've also decided to take a pass on it and if I go during that time period to cheer my friend on just use one of my regular offers.
