    How would you feel?

Well, I found out someone I know has had their host, multiple times, look up my information in the casino's system.

That is a total violation of privacy.

What if this person was someone wanting to rob my house when I wasn't home or what if this person was an estranged ex looking to find me and do something unmentionable.

How would you feel if members of this forum had an open book to your gambling history and/or scheduled gambling days at your local?

I can understand hosts sharing client info amongst themselves, but I'd hope they have some rules about sharing client info with other clients?

What a slimy asshole of a loser who would do something like that!

    What do you guys think?

I totally agree with you Kim. It's called "spying"! But we are now living in a high tech World where certain people are using computers to find info on "people of interest". They've been coming out with smart cars, smart phones, and smart homes, etc., claiming that these things are convenient, also time and energy savers to get consumers to buy them. What they don't tell you is that using these items make it much easier for certain others to spy on you. I can remember years ago when the gov't wanted to get deeper info on someone they normally went to insurance companies because the insurance companies (at that time) were the only ones that had "in depth" info on anyone that's ever been insured for anything. Nowadays, just about anything you do is collected and compiled by a computer so anyone with the right password (or a hacker) can obtain your information. If you can get proof that a casino host is giving your personal info out to anyone other than another casino then you should have a case to get that host fired & black balled from the casino industry. Good luck!

THE internet can Be a very Dangerous place .Even here on JWE in what seems like a safe place . You must Always make sure you don't share things that could come back to bite you on the ass . but in reference to your particular problem . I would certainly at the Very least find out who this hosts boss is and have him/her Dismissed . or your gonna sue the piss out of them .

I would be mad...All your points are valid. Where I work that is one of the quickest way to get fired, to use customer information for anything but it's intended use....Up to you how far you want to pursue it, but the cosmo just sent people checks for not letting them know that phone calls may be recorded...and this is a much larger invasion of privacy.

Dang Kim, that is just wrong. Of course if you confront the person, they will deny it. It really could open up a can of worms if you take it to a higher level. The host could really take it out on you comp wise.

@Kimsa, that is fucked up but I am not surprised to hear of it. It is very easy today for people who know how find out certain information on people today. In a very short period of time computers have made it very easy for people's personal information to be violated.

I don't know what you can really do about the situation you are in but are you also saying this is someone who is on JWE? If so this is really messed up.

If I wanted a time out, I would go back to kindergarten.

Computer privacy is one thing, and it is very difficult to protect yourself online. But this is an absolute outrage! Please follow up and please share the results. I sincerely hope this does not involve anyone from our Joker family!

Invasive...SMH. Discuss with your host, see what the casino privacy policy covers and proceed from there.
When I want fun I go to a casino....Nothing like a cock, slot and a handy!!

Kim, that is very upsetting to hear. I agree this is a total violation of your privacy. I hope something can be done to prevent this from happening again, also if you can take legal action.
