The accident happen Far from eagle pass . the bus rolled over about 8 miles north of the Laredo border check point on Hi-way 83 . it was coming from San Juan Tx just out side of Mc Allen . Horrible Accident 7 died at the seen 42 of the 52 on board were hurt . no details have been released as to what happen other than the roll over . My guess is Piss poor bus maintenance. seeing how most of the roads in that area are straight and flat .

We actually saw a bus crash south of Phoenix a few years back, and the bus company, it turned out, had a terrible safety rating, and those particular driver had been placed out of service 5 times for fatigued driving and log book violations in the previous year. So not surprising. But tragic.

From what i under stand the acceptable bus / equipment safety rating for most company's is below the 20% area. sounds like TSB needs to be more vigilant on the licencing of these company's.
