GG, I have not stayed there since my first Vegas trip in 2003. I liked the rooms then. My only issue I have had with it was the last few times I was in it I didn't care for the casino. I do not know if it was the slot selection or what seemed to be very low ceilings. But overall it is a nice property.

TI is my DH favorite. Its been a coulpe years since wecstayed there, but we love the beds, the rooms are nice. Nothing over the top, don't know about the suites, we always just get the regular comp room. I agree with Zeus on the casino.

Thanks for the feedback. The rooms look decent online but I didn't recall seeing many other TRs about Treasure Island. My BF had an offer that he booked there for Freeplay. I'm going to go ahead and book my room across the street at Palazzo. I didn't plan to play that much on this trip so I didn't want to burn my comps but I guess I will have to sacrifice and play a little harder. :-)

I like Treasure Island and have won big there. I love the strip view rooms, the location of the hotel and the curve of Las Vegas Blvd makes it like you are on the center of the strip, great views! I love Palazzo, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay at TI for a low rolling trip!

@Georgiagambler - I've stayed there a few times over the years. The standard rooms are okay - on the small side, small bathroom with the combination shower/bath and one sink in the vanity. If you've stayed at the Mirage in a standard room, they're the same (Treasure Island was built shortly after the Mirage). The Petite Suites are popular, larger with his and hers bathrooms.

I like the location with the walkway into the Fashion Show Mall. They have two Starbucks locations - one on the way to the little train that takes you to the Mirage and one in front of the entrance. There is a walkway that takes you over to the Venetian.

The casino is one of the quieter ones on the Strip (which I like!). Much quieter than the Palazzo.

Yes the strip views are fabulous from TI. I haven't stayed there since ~5 years but at that time the rooms were just fair but the view was fantastic.

Went to the casino last month for a short visit and I liked it.

It's been a few years, but I stayed there a few times after the 1st SF M&G out there. They sent me decent free play and F&B comp offers until I screwed them over that one time, was fun while it lasted hehe Here are some pics I found in my Photobucket..

..And the Buffalo there are crazy! I have been trying to stop in and at least play them every trip now and they always treat me well.

Furniture is showing age and bathroom is from 1990s. Otherwise, clean, good location and resort fees are optional.
