Is Reno the goto place for video poker

I am only 600 miles from Biloxi and I hate to fly so drive there for my casino fix for video poker but I have heard from friends that Reno is THE place to go for great paytables. Anybody know if that's true? Thanks.

Reno has full pay video poker pretty much everywhere. I have done quite well there, and we have a few people here that have done exceptionally well! @Luckylinda123 for one.

Thanks. Now I just have to research the best place to stay. I only have a host at the Biloxi Hard Rock and they are not affiliated with anybody so would have to start anew in Reno.

yeah, I'll agree. You can find some full pay video poker in other places too- like if you go to Vegas and go off-strip. But in Reno it's not just some of the games that are full pay, its all of the games. i like that because I can find games like 100 play or other multi hand games in addition to the single line games there and get the full paytables, or even find a full pay game with a progressive on top of that. The one exception though is Harrah's, they lowered most of their games.

Also, you can always use this site- vpfree2.com to check which casinos have the best games anywhere.

Thanks for the info. Now just have to talk the wife into Reno instead of Biloxi.

Yes I love Reno. It gets cold there and gets some snow. I like Atlantis and peppermill and several locals one also if you have a car. Tahoe is close and it is worth the drive to see it but not in the winter unless you want to ski.

Just my own experience but Tahoe and Reno have been lucky for me re VP. Fwiw all my royals have been in Tahoe.

I seem to do better overall in Reno than in LV.

Tahoe is my go to place for VP as well Manette. A large portion of my royal flushes have came there and it is too bad you can't find the combination of great pay tables and fun bar setting in other destinations like they have at Harvey's Lake Tahoe. They also have quite a few All Star VP machines at both Harrah's and Harvey's if you get tired of single game VP and would prefer playing Ult X, Super Times Pay, or some other multi-line variation.

Really like VP in Reno. Either is it good or I was real lucky on my one trip to Reno during a convention. Won about $20K for the week. $5K was won playing a slot machine waiting for the "change lady". Put in a twenty and one $5K. Darn amazing week. Excellent pay tables.
