Yes I get excited prior to a trip, my local like Zeus' is 3 hours away....so that's a planned road trip...for at least 2 nights but usually 3-4. Now that I'm retired I have the time. Vegas trips are usually 5-7 nights. I enjoy the planning, dreaming and anticipating.

Absolutely I get excited! If I stop getting excited, I'll stop gambling. We cut out our local so we get even more excited for AC trips now since it means getting away for a couple of days.

Yes, I get excited every time I have a casino trip coming up. Tomorrow, I'm going over to Biloxi for an overnighter where I will celebrate my retirement with some friends. Then, next week I will be going to Vegas. I am so excited and can't wait!
