Yesterday was Maui which is now my favorite place on earth. Lahaina is the neatest little shoreside town and the whale watching was phenomenal. No whale
Pictures Til we get home, but the camera missed most of them anyway.


We had to tender to shore in life boats.




You can't tell
From the photo but we were on a 30' zodiac. Whales are about 45' we saw many, many whales. Mamas with their babies, sometimes with a male escort. It was amazing to observe their behaviors and had the pleasure of an almost full breach just off our side of the boat. It was a dazzling display!

When our little boat returned to the dock, this lovely lady was waiting to greet us!
She was beautifully coiffed and dressed and I was a soaked drowned rat! She and John treated us to a delightful lunch at the Lahaina Fish Company. Fabulous fish tacos & yummy local beer.


That officially made Maui the best place on earth. I would give up gambling in a heartbeat if I could find a way to move here!
