Waaah! Phooey! Tulalip's Mega Meltdown machines are gone!

    Ranting!

Yesterday one of my friends suggested a shopping trip to Seattle Premium Outlets, located right next to the Tulalip Resort. We didn't get going until the early afternoon, so it ended up being my favorite kind of shopping trip, one where we skipped the shopping part and went right to the casino!

Played some WWII, and two of the babies, and Mega Vault, and Triple Fortune Dragon, and Buffalo, and couldn't even get a bonus or free spins, so thought I'd play some Mega Meltdown, which are my go-to machines that I love and usually give me some play. What the heck? Not one Mega Meltdown machine in the entire casino! On a mission to find out what was going on, I talked to a few floor people who couldn't tell me anything, then to a suit who told me there are a lot of very unhappy people missing that game. He said they hope to bring the machines back "sometime," but apparently there is some kind of conflict going (with IGT?). Huh.

Tulalip is still in the dark ages in terms of machines, despite their bragging that they have the newest machines. NO WD, no Lightning Link, no Buffalo Stampede or Grand or Gold. And now no more Mega Meltdown. Sigh.

I hate when a favorite machine disappears. Mandalay did it to me with a double Diamond Deluxe that I loved. Glad you got to skip the shopping and got some slotting time. I hope they bring your machines back soon!

Do they still have the regular Meltdowns? I wonder just what kind of "conflict" they could be having. Multimedia is the manufacturer, btw, same as the regular Meltdowns & Total Meltdown.

I won't blame Tulalip for not having the same machines as found in other states, but if other Washington casinos have it, that's a different story. Washington requires different software so the manufacturers have to do that.

Just the $5 ones gone? Jackpots must have been getting too big. Or possibly the bad non-progressive payouts combined with the high bet required caused those to not be played enough.

Not sure if other still there. Don't play em. Never saw people playing 5$ bank. They'd rather play triple fortune dragon.

I was there again yesterday and while the regular Meltdowns are still there, all of the Megas are gone. I asked again, and they said it's "temporary." Whatever the problem, it's with Tulalip because Angel of the Winds still has both $1 and $5 Mega Meltdowns.
