It sounds like Hard Rock is truly committed to this project. I hope it goes well for them and that the brand helps bring more folks to town. Just hope it does not turn out to be like Revel. Anyone heard any updates from Straub and that true fiasco?

There must be huge tax benefits or something. There's no way any sane company would invest huge sums of money in a saturated casino market these days.

I wouldn't be surprised if NJ isn't doing something like that to help save their market with all of the neighboring states having lots of casinos. Apparently the casino holds have been on the rise within the past year, so I wish them well.

It seems slots gave seen their heyday. Slots are expensive, so casinos are cutting back. Holds have to rise to pay for themselves and the rest of the casino costs. Millennials don't gravitate to slots and online gaming is upon us. Am I missing something? At least Vegas has much more appeal to tourists than just gaming these days

Don't get me wrong, Las Vegas will always be king. They have so much going for them with such great restaurants, great shows and entertainment, etc. But you have to wish the best for AC.
