steel graphite is the color. Easier to paint in color groups.

    CeCe's repurposing page.

Some success! Had to get some non toxic stripper, and then scrape and scrub. I will sand more today with 80 Grit and then 120 and begin the bleaching process. Half water, half household bleach in a spray bottle, spray it completely and let it sit in the sun to dry. will probably take 5 rounds, and then I will hand sand with 320 grit to smooth it out.. and coat with a poly.

I think the toxic works better, especially the extra strength but I also remember skin burns and getting woozy…if they still make the non toxic white gel that worked ok, I found covering it with toweling or something kept it from drying out and gave it more time to work. Good luck, that is a lot of work.

Aircraft stripper is the best but will give you nerve damage. They came out with a new one but it sucks but remember only brush One Direction.

A little more sanding to try and get the red tone out.. and the sides need more, then clean and bleach again. Hope to poly sunday and get it back in the house.

This has been a lot of work.. But so different than any piece I have done!
