    Fallsview, Seneca help needed

I posted a thread last fall saying I would be in Toronto in June and would be adding Niagra and NYC to the trip. I am having to cancel the NYC portion of the trip, but have some questions for anyone that can help.

I will be attending a conference in downtown Toronto. We will take a train to Niagra Falls, Ontario, for two days. We are planning on staying at Fallsview Casino Resort for two days.

I think I have that part figured out, but we would like to tack on a night at Seneca Niagra Resort in New York. Since we will be so close to Buffalo, we decided to fly home via Southwest. We have no need for a rental for any portion of the trip and do not think it would be feasible to rent one in Canada to drop off in Buffalo. I've been researching ways to get across the border and it appears that there is a slew of options. Apparently taxis have a flat rate for the drive through customs and into the U.S.

This seems incredibly too simple to me and my husband does not believe that it will be that simple.

According to Google, Seneca is only nine minutes from Fallsview. Does anyone know if that is true?

Anyway, I have never been out of the country or Niagra Falls. Do any of you have any ideas on how best to get from Fallsview in Canada to Seneca in New York the easiest, fastest, less stressful way?

I would really appreciate the help.

It's been over 10 years since I was at Niagara Falls, but we did go to Seneca Niagara when we were there. It's just across the border on the US side so 9 minutes from Fallsview sounds about right but not sure if that takes into consideration any traffic or border delays. Pretty sure this is Ting's gambling area so maybe @foamy can ask him to help you with any questions. Have a great time!

If a US citizen get Global Entry or Nexus. I think with Nexus special lanes you just go right across. Read on US passport site or TSA sight.

Unfortunately I am all too familiar with this crossing!

If without a car you have 2 options:
    1) take a cab across as you have already said
    2) walk across the bridge. I have done this many times - its about 5 min walk to span the bridge and another 10 or so to casino (however you can grab a cab once you get thru customs on US side and cab it to casino) Its a great view of the falls from the bridge but if you choose this route your comfort will depend on how much stuff you're lugging around.
Let me know if any other questions...like I said - I've done this crossing a lot. I live in Toronto

I had to cancel our Toronto trip. I am so bummed, but I wanted to tell everyone "Thank You" for all of the help. We own a small business and my bookkeeper had a baby and I had a staffer take another job. Sometimes it just feels like a ball and chain, but mostly I do love what I do for a living. However, in this instance, I am very disappointed. We have decided to take a short trip to either Lake Charles or Coushatta ... or both. I have to be ad a conference on Lake Conroe during that same time (I was going to skip it to go to Canada), so we will be slotting in Louisiana instead of Niagra Falls. We will be slotting on June 19 for three days, so if I will try to take a lot of photos of any big or medium wins. Thank you again for always being so sweet.

It sucks having to cancel your trip, but at least you still get to get your gamble on. Unfortunately one of the downfalls of being a business owner. Hopefully you will have great luck like so many Jokers do Louisiana!

Glad you still can have a casino trip. Coushatta is a good place to play
