Lake Charles, Coushatta June 19-23

So the trip to Las Vegas is official!!! I can't tell you how excited I am. We will be in Las Vegas July 18-22 at Wynn. We have no real plans and don't expect to make any. We are going with two other couples, who love it like we do. It's great, because we all like gambling so much, that we don't care where each other are and just meet up to eat or visit. The only thing I want to do is go to Hell's Kitchen. My husband wants to have a lobster grilled cheese at South Point. Other than that, it will be lounging, people watching and gambling! The last few trips, we've gone with a huge group and it's been miserable.

I promise to try to do a good job of posting next week. Thanks for all of your happy thoughts and advice on Louisiana.

Good luck on your trip to LC and Coushatta. I’ve been partial to the Golden Nugget rooms recently as I find them brighter than L’auberge. I agree with Lacey regarding Asia and Ember, GN has a good selection of restaurants, Landry, Lilies, Vic and Anthony, Grotto etc.

I too stay at Wynn Tower Suites, love the koi pond entrance and Asian Rain scent as well as VIP check-in room.

Here we go!!! We’re in the car and are 6 hours away from Lake Charles! We will attempt to keep you updated, but at the very least we will post a wrap up! We head to Coushatta for two days tomorrow.
