    Puzzled by CET

Hi All, I started playing at CET when I they offered the Diamond upgrade last Sep. I was doing well at Harrah’s and then had a good trip at Caesar’s as well in December. So the new year rolled around and by the end of March I had earned 21,000 tier at Caesar’s alone. I had a day where I earned 2500 and my other day trips and overnight trips I was earning between 1,000 and 2,000 a day on slots alone.

Here’s my confusion and I know there are some of you who love CET but not sure if anyone else feels like me...I don’t feel like I get much there. I earn or receive nothing other than tier credits earned towards food, so I can’t even dine at one of their fine dining restaurants and have it comped.

I earn no additional slot dollars other than the Return Rewards I earn while I play and they never offer days where you receive additional slot dollars. My biggest complaint is that a host emailed me in February and told me to let her know when I need a room, etc. So the DH and I book a room on a Sunday night, first week of May, completely off season and in my email I say that we are celebrating our 23rd anniversary. My trip before was when I earned 2500 tier and we got a standard ocean view room in the Centurion Tower. I could have booked that room myself!

I don’t think I will continue to play at Caesar’s after my Diamond card expires next January. With Hard Rock and Ocean Resort opening, I will make one of those or go back to Golden Nugget as my 2nd AC casino.

I have to say at the same play, I would get nice suites when I was playing at GN and I feel you earn tier points the same at CET as you do GN but GN also gave me two $40 food vouchers 2x a month and they would have days when you received additional slot dollars like they have at Borgata too.

After returning back to Borgata and now that they are owned by Mlife, I will continue to give them most of my play. To me nothing in AC compares to Borgata but hey there will be other possibilities soon.

I was just curious how other players feel about CET too.

I think part of it is you're in the AC market, which I don't completely understand how comps work there.
Our Vegas host usually adds a $100 FB comp when we email him ahead of time.
We're going to Horseshoe So. Indiana this weekend for 3 comped nights, $130 FP, and our host down there just added another $100 food to our reservation. We're low diamond achievers and we are mainly concerned about getting free rooms.
Not sure why your host didn't offer at least a food comp.

A food comp here or there would be nice. Maybe it does have to do something with AC being my home casino?

Maybe because we are out of the AC market, it is the complete opposite for us. We had a host from Harrahs reach out to us and sealed the deal to come back this weekend. I have 950.00 FP, limo ride, airfare, suite, Gordon Ramsey and told us to put all our F&B on our room and he will take care of it. Last trip I had 2 2500 tc's days and one 500. He also know I double booked the GN for Friday & Saturday because I have FP there. Probably only stay Friday and may have some customers come in Saturday night to take the GN room.

I was told that the CET properties are separate from what you are offered. Maybe Harrah’s is more generous than Caesar’s?

Our experience with CET in AC is very little in return for food and FP. Of course we will give then little play at times and seldom have free room June through mid Sept. But even when we played 2500 TC one and a nd 1000 the next offers were really low. We do a bit better in most other markets. But then remember we do not play at the coin in level most here do. Really give us free room and we be happy camper.

I’m more upset that I can’t cover the cost of dinner when we stay overnight because it is so hard to accumulate reward credits unless you can go on a multiplier day.

One thing that CET offers pretty regular is their promotional days where you swipe your card at the kiosk for a multiplier on your Reward Credits earned that day. It is typically 3- 10 times your normal rate. We have been lucky and have hit it on each stay there. I believe we have gotten 3, 6 &7. It helps out. And one time a host came up to Allen and introduced himself, and gave him a $100 food credit.

I believe each property has their advantages. I guess with us is their locations throughout the country where we can get rooms.

I feel like those multiplier days are always when we can’t make it there I wanted to give them play because they have so many locations throughout the country but we probably can’t start taking full advantage of that for a few more years.
