Yes, we have had our own gear for years. I get grossed out ‘borrowing’ the gear, especially after seeing that some places clean it by swishing
it around in salt water

I also have a prescription mask so I can actually see the sealife! And I have weak lungs, so I use a child size snorkel. Haha, I am finicky!

Guess I won't ever be going snorkeling...cause their gear sounds gross and I'm not buying gear for one time. LOL, I'll be the waiter upper on the boat drinking a cocktail.

Bill and I also have/had our own equipment. Just gross using the ones the tours supply. I did give Bill's away last year, but kept mine, just in case I ever get a chance to go again!
