Congrats Linda!
My story isn't as good as yours but I went about two weeks ago myself after staying away to scope out what games I would play. I had the idea then that I was going to go do it and make Seven Stars, even though I would have to play about 4 or 5 times what I normally do in a day there that day. I since decided against it being that if things go bad it won't be worth it, but i had my first winning trip there in a year finally. Good luck on the 27th, this is definitely one of the best promos there I have seen.

Thanks everyone! @kdk I agree with not going for 7stars when you said it could potentially cost you thousands of dollars.
I already have over 19,000 only going for the 25,000.
Just a heads up to you folks and @Wynnvegas, Linda and I are flying to Phoenix Jan 15-19 to meet up with her son and go to the Barrett Jackson car auction. We get in late Tuesday to Ak-Chin. I'm keeping Thu and Friday clear but if anyone is at Ak-Chin Wed night let me know. Also any advice on rooms or slots there, please post.

If you haven't booked your room yet, I would try to get what they call the "high rise" rooms on the site. Those are in the new tower that just opened a few months ago, they are really nice and decent sized (when I last booked it gave me options within those too to get an extra large sized room). Highly recommend those.
The "tower" rooms are in the smaller tower. Those are about 7 -8 years old. Not bad but really on the small side, avoid them if you can get the high rise.
The resort rooms are the old, original rooms. They are large and have outdoor patios, but I think they may be being remodeled right now, along with the pool remodel so might not be an option then.
The casino expansion and remodel is about 80% done, not sure it will be complete next month. It turned out pretty nice.
I really like the game selection and mix of games there. They get most of the new games, plus the only place around here that still has the older games like Mr Woo and Outback Jack that I like, and some unique older Aristocrats too. It's also less busy there usually than the other Phoenix area casinos so can find more to play.
My one complaint though is they set their paybacks similar to the CET casinos on the Vegas strip. The other casinos in the area here have much higher paybacks and I win often at them, where as at Ak-Chin I went a year without a winning trip even with all the generous freeplay until just recently. so be careful. I can likely be there that day, just depends on how my work schedule goes that week, I'll let you know.
**** just realized after I posted Linda beat me to all the same stuff... at least we agree!
