New Harrah's casino is being built in Northern California about 2 1/2 hrs from us! This will be handy when we don't want to drive up the hill to Tahoe (if it ever stops snowing there). Looks like no hotel so that is a bummer. Looking forward to checking it out in 2019.

No hotel is a deal breaker for me. If I was ever to travel that far just to gamble, for sure I would also need to spend the night.

Looks about equal distance from both Sacramento and Stockton (within an hour away). They will have a good size local population to draw from for foot traffic to their casino.
