Really liked this TR. You 2 had a great time. Makes me re-think about cruising.
Great report, you have inspired me to pick up one of those cruise certs for the first time this weekend from Caesars.
Me and wife get one each and we can combine them to get a mini suite I think.
I am thinking of a december cruise as well, so who knows we might be on the same ship!

Thanks Charlie! It was beautiful, and I don't think I'll wait 40 years to go back, hhh!
Thanks Stephie, cruising and the islands are always relaxing!
It was wonderful, thankfully the weather cooperated but you know we'd have fun no matter what, lol!
I keep wishing I had a Star Trek transporter to bring me back there, lol! It's exactly like a hotel room. From the time you dock until you leave, there are no restrictions that we were aware of for getting on and off the boat.
Thanks Laurie! It was certainly rest we needed given how hectic work has been since we've returned. We need to start planning our next vacation, lol!
Do it!! We didn't think we'd like it when we decided to take our first cruise years ago but we've taken 5 since then and have another booked. We love the variety of checking out different places. Thanks Penguin!
LOL, I don't think you can bring your own fishing pole on the cruise ship, foamy! I think you two would like it!
LOL, I did see a few speedos on board! None I wanted to share a picture of though, lol!
That would be so fun, we're tentatively doing NCL again December out of San Juan! Not sure about stacking them, for each casino we play at we only play on one card so only one of us gets the offers. Would be awesome if you did get the mini suite (I heard they have larger bathrooms!)

OK, this is the never ending trip report since we've been busy and I've slacked finishing it.
Day 7: at sea day
Day 8: arrive at NYC and go home.
Our last day at sea we soaked up some more sun on the sun deck, hung out in the hot tub when the clouds rolled in, and then finally started packing a bit. That night after dinner we hit the casino for one last time and for some stupid reason, thought it was a great idea to play until 3 am! After a nap, we walked off the ship at 8 am and were through customs and getting picked up at 9 am. Easy end to the trip! Now for some final reviews...
Casino: They had A TON of new slots, slots we've never seen, and we had fun there. We didn't go every day, and some days were there only 20 mins or so. We felt certain games were much tighter (wonder 4 jackpots, buffalo gold) than land based casinos while others were much looser (River Dragons, Quick Hits). Overall combined for the trip, we lost only $200 the entire time, yay!
Shows: I forgot to mention the actual SHOWS on the ship. Choir of Man (despite the terrible title) was AWESOME! I can't even explain how fun this show is and if you are on an NCL ship with this show, GO SEE IT!
After Midnight: The dancing and singing was great and the cheeky songs like, "Don't advertise your man" about a woman who steals another woman's man after hearing how great he was from her made us giggle. Probably some of the most talented performers of any ship we've been on.
Some comedy magician: The fact that we don't know his name probably says something about this performance. it was ok.
Howl at the Moon: How do you not love a dueling piano show, especially one that plays "Downeaster Alexa" by Billy Joel, and "Thank you" from Moana in the same set!
I'll do food and drink in a separate post tonight with some menu and food pics.
Also, if anyone has any questions, feel free to either PM me or ask here.

@CTslotters, I just read your entire cruise report, it was awesome! I’m so happy that you enjoyed the Escape and who wouldn’t love Bermuda????
We are actually in the works of booking on the Encore from NY to Bermuda next May to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It will be our 3rd cruise to Bermuda in 4 years so you know we love the island. I have another beach location I’ve been wanting to try and this will be our first time there without the kids! Yay!
Loved your pics and waiting to hear your thoughts about the food. I did look into the Summit and Aqua Class but we will be going on the Encore for next to nothing through Casinos at Sea so it’s hard to pass up.

If I wanted a time out, I would go back to kindergarten.
I enjoyed reading your report and all the pictures- thank you for sharing. I love a good beach, never made it to Bermuda yet. Magen’s Bay is my favorite beach in St.Thomas if you ever cruise there.
