Halloween 2019

I haven't been very active on the forum except to check in and see what everyone is doing. It looks like Spring 2019 has been tough for a lot of jokers, my family included.

My sister (the one who says she doesn't like to gamble) called and wants to do Halloween in Vegas to we have booked flights . She has a timeshare at Westgate, but I don't care for there and so will be staying on the strip. She now is looking at staying on the strip too. I showed her how to check her Caesars Rewards account and she has comp rooms showing for Flamingo, Rio and Harrah's. I've never stayed at Rio or Flamingo and feel that Rio is too far off the strip.

Which do you Jokers prefer out of Flamingo and Harrah's? I like the location and rooms at PH, but the last 2 trips there couldn't buy a win so am willing to try one of those 2 so that we will be in the same hotel. I haven't stayed at Harrah's in years, but don't remember it as being horrible, just OK.

Thoughts, experiences????

Havent stayed at either props for over 20 yrs. But.. drink service is better at Harrahs, imo. Flamingo slot floor is better. Harrahs is smoky.

I have never stayed at Flamingo but know people who have and did not like it, they said the elevators were slow and the AC vent was filthy. I have always liked Harrahs and they have redone some of the rooms. RIO is too far off for me and I think they got rid of the shuttle and I hear people say it's seen better days.

Quite possible you would be able to get some type of suite at Flamingo and possibly Harrahs. Or maybe for just a few bucks your sister could upgrade to another CET casino on the strip.

I've stayed at both and prefer Harrah's rooms over Flamingo. I also like the slot floor at Harrah's better.

We stayed at Flamingo 3 years ago. Room was okay, never had issue with elevators, found other elevator banks (from my years of working in NYC buildings!) I loved the location of the Flamingo, great spot on middle of strip! Casino floor had good mix of games, had fun playing there. I thought they were redoing rooms at Flamingo? I would stay at Flamingo again, if I got offer.
