I can make a meal out of the AC and Cherokee LL's, but the Vegas ones not so much. I go there for the cocks. They are cheaper than the gin & tonics I pay $50-100 for in the casino.

Nothing in Vegas is the same anymore. The VIP lounge at Bellagio was pretty lame before Covid. Now it's just pathetic. But it usually is quiet in there. I'm sure they will be scanning room keys in the very near future. People have been checking out of their rooms and still coming in there for snacks and water, etc. The poor waiters in there had no idea they had checked out. They used to ask to see your room key, even if they recognized you. But as usual, crappy people just continue to abuse everything.

The lounges were nice for grabbing something to hold me over until next meal instead of having to have another big meal or wait in long line at a quick food place. Will miss the lounges but if the crowds still come without them, there is no incentive to reopen them.

Bad move IMO but consistent with the direction CET is going, which is limit your food choices so their places are the only option. Ran into that in Caesar's So Indiana a few months back. During the remodel, they closed all non-CET eateries.

We usually eat whatever is convenient and the DL's were nice to grab a bite and a drink. When V closed their Gold Lounge, that was a big reason we went to CET. In the end it's not a big deal I guess since our days of going to Vegas 3-4 times a year seem to be over.

I've heard the reason the lounges in Atlantic City are so extravagant opposed to the rest of the network as there is a state law they must serve food with an open bar. Now is the reason they are so extravagant as every casino has it's own competition or is there a stipulation of what the food must consist of? BUT The lounges there have gone downhill a bit and they can blame COVID, but most likely Eldorado's new plan.

Yep, I believe it is Eldorado. They are already starting to get rid of entertainment. And there is talk about them selling the Colosseum. The CEO wants to focus on gaming, and wants to run a very lean company. How much do you cut before your customers jump ship?

So sad to hear this! But I guess they can sell it and still benefit from the big acts drawing people into their casino.

Thanks for sharing the news. @Gypsy do you know if you can use the drink vouchers at the CET restaurants and Vanderpump Garden?
