Why do they not serve alcohol?

The negotiations at the time were silly cause the state said they had too many casinos already. Madison is the state Capitol so they basically told the HoChunk it would be an alcohol free facility or not at all. Ironic thing is that there has been expansion in the state since then in Wittenberg that allows alcohol.

Like going to a steakhouse and only ordering a salad, just won't work in my opinion. I think they made a big mistake.
If you still think that everything casinos do is motivated by money, remember this. BTW, some people go to the casino primarily to smoke.
