So I have to make my mind up today. My mother and her SO have asked me to go on this cruise 12/30 to 1/6 to the Caribbean. I just don't know. They don't leave the ship and I don't like fancy dinners. Anyone been on this cruise? I would like to spend the time with mom, but since we would be sharing a suite, it might be too much togetherness for 7 days, HHH. Thoughts???

Hard to say, Darlene. Many people I know love cruises and are no sooner home than they're planning another. It never had any appeal for me, I would probably stay in the casino and then eat and drink myself into a coma.Think about how you want to spend your time. I also don't like the idea of being trapped on the ship if it turns out I'm not enjoying myself. Sounds like your mom wants to spend time with you, though. You may have a great time.
Don't they have a casino? If so, it looks like smooth sailing.

I've been on 8 cruises, some with groups and some with just 1 other person. The thing that saved my sanity with my roommates(s) is we agreed we didn't have to do everything together. It's easy to meet people on the ship and you can constantly run into them and hang with them at the various activities they have on board.
I opted to pass on this one.
