Hollywood Casino in Grantville, Pa. has been having a promo every Wednesday this month called "Scratch-N-Match" where they claim that you could win up to $100k cash by revealing 6 "Stacks of Bills" on a scratch off ticket that they give you. The ticket has 30 blocks on it to scratch but you can only choose 6 of them to scratch and reveal your prize (if any). Then you put your name & member # on it and the ticket goes into a drum (whether you win or lose) for a second drawing where they pick/pull 10 winners out of this drum every 20 minutes between 11am & 4pm. Each one picked wins $250 in fp. I went there last Wednesday & today to try my luck. Last week, I had gotten 3 stacks of bills which had gotten me $100 in free slot play. I played it all off in no time - tight slots. So, I stuck around for a couple of hours to see if they would happen to pull my name out of the drum to win $250 fp. During this time there was one of the names that stuck in my memory that they had pulled because it was so close to being my own name. Today, during the picking of the winners from out of the drum (supposedly), I noticed this very same name that's so close to my own being a $250 fp winner again. This to me is quite a "stretch". Judging by the crowd that was there, there had to be over 2,000 tickets in that drum. What are the odds on the same person being picked to win $250 fp 2 weeks in a row? It really seems fishy to me. That's why I just up & left there early today. It's becoming evident to me that this casino can't even run a legit promo let alone their slots. Like I've always said about this casino, they "pick-n-choose" their winners.
