Glad it worked! Only get a chance to play in Vegas. Favorite places include Cosmo, Wynn, V/P, and Bellagio. I like to record my slot games but some places are friendlier than others when it comes to recording... Wynn being the worst.
CPT - i sent a msg to the site admin and i presume that would be you. Please disregard. I saw this theead which explained the 10 post rule. As you can see, i'm able to post now.
Its Cool that you like to record your play . i've never had an issue with any where I've taken pics .now recording is a different story .But i think you'll find that most places wont say much AS LONG as you are staying to your self at the machine that you are playing at and not getting others in your shot . a good friend of mine who's in the casino business told me that the casino he's at promotes the taking of pics and video . he looked at it this way.. people aren't taking pics of there losses they are taking pics of there Wins . what great and free publicity .
Your experience doesn't surprise me. They have a rather poor attitude. Have had a couple of bad experiences myself, so i wish i could boycott it like you have. Even cleaners and cocktail waitresses have taken on the role of video security to guard against recording. Unfortunately" it's a good place to play when you look past the irritations. I still record, but it needs to be on the down low, so footage can sometimes be shoddy and you're not relaxed.
Ha! If only they all thought the same way about recording. I've noticed that policies vary considerably up and down the strip. CET and Cosmo are pretty relaxed about it. Taking a pic is quick so its unlikely you will get caught. Video-ing is a different story.
