Biloxi in May

I will be over there in May, also. Will be staying at the IP from 5/9 to 5/12. It's my daughter's birthday trip so really hope everything goes well. First time to Biloxi.
Would appreciate any comments on Biloxi, IP or Harrah's Gulf Coast.

Biloxi is tons of fun, more laid back than Vegas, not as many shows but the gambling is the same, in other words I make a donation every trip. I'll be at the Beau which is the most beautiful casino in Bilioxi in my opinion, but the slots are tight. The Hard Rock is a short walk from the Beau and has lots of older machines and I don't like the layout. Harrah's is smaller and has a nice mix of machines. but is pretty tight. There is a Steak and Shake inside Harrahs. It's been a long time since I was at the IP, so I don't have any input on it. The Scarlet Pearl is the newest casino in Biloxi and isn't far from the IP, pretty inside and a decent selection of slots. I only played there for a short while my last trip and had fun, no big wins though. If you have a car it's much easier to get around.

How crowded does harrahs pool get? My daughter and 2 of her friends are now joining me in the room...

It can get busy, I would recommend going down early to get a chair. They used to also have reasonable rate for a day bed by the pool but not sure if they still do it.

Was trying to decide what to do for vacation and low and behold the Beau sent me an over that covers my birthday and memorial day . So I just booked a trip to Biloxi 5/28 - 6/1. Hot fun in the sun coming soon .
