One thing @goldengreeke. it is a lifestyle change. I think after you get to desired weight you can taper off SLOWLY while monitoring your weight and when weight starts back up then need to cut carbs. But have to have the will power to get on the scales every couple of days. When I go for a week or two without weighing that's when I have gained. My personal opinion is a cheat day is okay as it let's you do something you enjoy and you don't feel like you have been deprived of something. This also helps one from hogging out when you do have a slip up day and getting right back on track. So now I have to see if all of this will really work for me. hhh
I have been slowly cutting out sugar for some time but need to work on the carbs. You all are very inspiring and will try hard through the Holidays to continue cutting out sugar and moving harder on this in the new year.

Gene substitute the ribeye for a leaner beef sirloin or NY strip and toss in some chicken and you might even see better results this time.
